Ever since Tobi hinted at using Rinne Tensei for Madara. However, there has been some slight hints there and here of Tobi turning back to the Obito we know.

But, if he ever uses Rinne Tensei. I do not think the reviving ones would be the first thing we think to be revived. The first person on Tobi's mind would be Rin. His past crush and love. He started war because "You let Rin die".

Now wouldn't it be more appropriate that he'd think of reviving her, at least a little bit?

Now think on this little thing. Nagato had revived those he only could who died in the "past day" which of the Pain's Invasion of Konoha. If that were to be true, Rinne Tensei would be useless to revive Madara Uchiha since he supposedly died many, many years ago.

If Tobito even brought that up, then there's a chance he could and might will revive Rin as well (that is, if he ever turns).

Also, those who are brought back to life, want to go back to the afterlife (unless they're sadistic). So it's a waste of time.

We have no idea how the Rinne-balls work...
And Madara isn't technically dead, while I can add a question as to why Nagato didn't revive AT LEAST Yahiko (his body also died that same day, in a sense) or Jiraiya (less applicable, but we don't know for sure, again) of those who he knew personally AND either killed himself or had at his disposal.

Wishful, I think you're thinking of Edo Tensei. Rinne Tensei is the technique Nagato used to revive all the people the Pains had killed in the attack on Konoha. If what you said was true, the majority of the Leaf village would be depressed zombies, and we know that's not true.

I vote Shizune as the "missing" Rin ...

Someone who secretly pretends death after the Kakashi supposedly killing her and appearing as Shizune ... If this is so, than Kakashi himself wouldn't know...

And the only one who would know would be Tsunade since she was with Tsunade since Shizune was first introduced in the series ...

Ok, I would like to point out that Tobi/Obito CANNOT revive Rin with the Rinne Tensei. She's been dead for years which means her body has decomposed to nothing but bones and dust. Rin has already passed on into the afterlife. Not to mention that there is a certain amount of time after a person dies that they can be revived by Rinne Tensei. I'm assuming Madara can be revived because his soul has been brought back by Edo Tensei.

If that were the case, then why bother mentioning the Rinne Tensei about bringing back Madara?

His body was not in a good condition and was very old and supposedly died as well. Hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if Tobito took Rin's body from the massacre area and went to reserve her body for something later.

ET Madara's soul was not his, but another's that was being used. Come back after you understand how Edo Tensei works and the chit-chat between Tobito and Madara of the final drop of their agreed plan.

Yes she's been dead for years! So has Madara and Tobito still plans on reviving him not as his frail self he once saw but strong young Madara... It is indeed possible to revive someone from so long ago gone ... It may not seem like it in Nagato's perspection but the owner and formal knowledge of the rinnegan is Madara's. So it may seem impossible but it's still possible.

Madara's soul is his but the body is not. Edo tensei works by summoning the soul of the dead from the afterlife using a dummy body.

This is the reason why those who were souls are sealed by death repear can no longer be reanimated by edo tensei because their souls are trapped inside the death repear's belly.

@OP it wouldnt make sense for Obito to revive Rin for the simple fact that Obito doesnt believe in hope. Basically, in Obito's perspective there is no hope & future as long as hatred exists so why revive Rin? Same with Nagato thats why he didnt revive Yahiko.

What u said is nonsense... all the people who were killed wanted to live just because they were killed in an instant and they knew what was happening.. thats why none of them is miserable >.<
