Why do people hate Ino?

Frankly, Ino is useless, and the fact that Kishimoto uses her as sort of a carrot stick in front of Sakura, that basically doesn't have any carrot is sort of insulting to Sakura fans, and fans of a good plot system.

Therefore, most Naruto fans hate Ino.

i don't like ino because i think she's worthless. she has no skills, does nothing in fights, and is a pathetic excuse for a ninja. i mean she knows like what--3 jutsus? that's below genin level. that's like pre-ninja-academy level. she should just give up on being a ninja and go sell flowers.

I know this quote is from a long time ago, but it served as a perfect example of what ignorant people say about Ino with absolutely know evidence to back it up besides her lack of screen time which is obviously unjustified.

And frankly I am absolutely sick of people saying Ino is useless in combat just because her jutsu does not do direct damage. And now that in the war she has finally had her time to shine in taijutsu by sparring with asuma in choji's body and ninjutsu by displaying clone transfer jutsu, idiots still try discredit her by claiming, "It was only because she was in Choji's body." Fans of Ino will completely understand what I am tying to say.
