Won't deny the fact he is the only EDM Producer to recieve a Grammy. And he also changed EDM in general with his "style". Though to be honest I feel he ran the dubstep scene into the ground with the ongoing generic songs that use the exact same samples in each tune save for a few. I give him props for his rise, but honestly I know of a lot of producers who make Skrillex look like a new kid when it comes to production. Again though, I have respect for his rise in the scene because he was not doing so hot in the music scene when he was Sonny Moore in the band From First To Last.

Though I say that because I know exactly how to produce and sound engineer

I think what he does for a lot of people who don't know much about EDM is that he causes them to think that it's all the same and that the next song isn't any different from the last. His music is fun at first, but listen to like 4 songs and you kinda start to get annoyed.

Dubstep producers are not really in 'bands' per se. Sometimes just one person, occasionally a duo, and less commonly a trio. Not really a band.

I would suggest to you Nero, Doctor P, Rusko or Zeds Dead just to name a few.

When I listened to him for the first time, I thought that he was awesome, then I listened to more dubstep and found out that they're much better.

But I'm more of a Liquid Dubstep fan and I love House music too.
