Spoiler Doesn't anyone else see a giant loophole in Tobi's (Kishi's) explanation?

Soo, Madara can't kill the entire alliance all at once for one because they can't control the Juubi completely..okay fine.

For two because Madara doesn't want to kill Tobi for various reasons and can't go on a suicide attack. Umm, can't Tobi instantly warp anywhere in the world? So is Kishi an idiot or is Tobi lying to Madara.

I am going with idiot this go around. At this point he created a story he can probably barely control. He no longer uses any of his characters aside for a handful. He should just end this arc a go full blown nuke fest.

But it makes no sense. Kishi would have been better of not trying to explain this drawn out battle than offer an explanation that is just flat out wrong and frankly insulting.

That is why I said he should just forget the story at this point and go straight combat. That is the best way to cover plotholes. Just have your characters stop talking.

tobi is connected to the jubbi. THe jubbi is too powerful and it takes to long to warp

no, you're the idiot here who doesn't understand that in order for Tobi to warp, he'd have to disconnect his hashirama's cell from the Juubi leaving madara alone in control, which after madara has killed himself from suicide bombing would leave the juubi alone and free

I was going to mention the point about the moukuton connection, but you beat me to it. However, we don't really know all the facts. Ninjas trade in deception. It is possible that Madara is manipulating Obito even now. Has it occurred to anyone that ET Madara could use the Rinne Tensei to pull himself back to life?

I know what you are thinking: how could he perform such a feat when he is both the target and the source of resurrection? Well, how can people summon asteroids with unlimited internal energy, when localized chakra has always been known as limited? Such a limitation has nothing to do with the story, only the imposition of logic on an illogical framework (which is what fantasy is). We haven't seen the story limit itself in this manner yet, so we can't expect such a limitation out of hand. Clearly, we didn't know what ETs were capable of before Madara decided to become a freelance god.

It could be that Madara is toying with Obito. He has shown that he is capable of that. After all, he's got an essentially unlimited amount of time to enjoy the spectacle, and returning to life will only shorten that time.
