I didn't think anyone from Naruto's group would die. Didn't think Kishi had in him. But everybody knows it should have been Sakura or tenten who died.

Seriously, if it wasn't for Kishi's inability to show action well... this would have been a masterpiece chapter, like others in the past.
The one bit where Obito was all over Madaras ass was cool too

But I have still read better, Naruto VS. Pain made me shiver in my quiver.

Still, best chapter we've had since Sasuke VS. Danzo

Obito mans up pretty well :-P and I didnt realise Madara needed to sacrifice him :-) I am still sad Neji.died but I'm glad Kishi isn't to sared to kill te original twelve

The chapter was truly remarkable, now that I've taken my time to read and look over everything. The action is increasing and chilling, haven't felt this since the Pain Invasion arc in the manga years ago.

Before, people were complaining about Tobito not using Mokuton-type jutsu in the current events of Naruto. Damn well did we get one.

Tobito probably lost any possible faith in Naruto after witnessing one of Naruto's comrades "deaths".

Okay so I got a couple things out of this.
1) The only way Obito is going out is by death-he's past the point of words, it's obvious now that he went off the deep end a LONG time ago.
2) Naruto will not be the almighty Im-Going-To-Save-Everyone hero we were expecting him to be(which I am happy about) -- Seeing as how Naruto's comrade died, we now know that Naruto will not be able to defeat them on his own. No matter how mad he may get, he is limited in how much he can do. The only way these two are going down is if they show an extraordinary level of teamwork and strategy(which is definitely within reason), or if Sasuke comes in and is a total game changer.

WITH THAT SAID, I predict somebody else will die in the next 3 chapters!

I would try and justify who that may be with a bunch of reasons, but seeing how Neji died urges me to believe that anyone and everyone is a candidate.

I must say, I'm impressed with the surprisingly dark turn Kishi took there. Looks like this war is about to get real.

Been real, going real.

After the risky shot at Shikaku, Inoichi, Ao and the HQ and then Neji. Anyone could die next, whether major or semi-major that would have some affect in the story.

For some reason, I have this feeling that Chouji and/or Kakashi may very well be targeted....
