Naruto/Sakura/Hinata and Yoh/Anna/Tamao - feel the difference!

(Naruto and Shaman King, if you missed the names hint...)
Why am I doing this?
Cause I wanna show those who are either playing the shonen card and/or being blind Sakura fans, WHY she isn't good for Naruto - by comparing this "triangle" to another of EXTREME similarity.
For the purposes of THIS thread (cause they ARE pretty different generally):
Naruto=Yoh: Main male character of a shonen Anime, who is involved in a "love triangle" (however slightly). Nothing more to add, cause he's NOT quite like Naruto personality-wise (but isn't his opposite either).
Sakura=Anna: Near-main female character, who is abusive towards the main male. Anna ends up as Yoh's wife in the Manga.
Hinata=Tamao: Secondary female character, who is very timid and has a crush on the main guy. Tamao ends up with nothing.

Let's keep looking, then, OK?
Let's compare Anna and Sakura in how they treat their main guys.
1. Anna beats Yoh into training BECAUSE she fiercely supports his goal to become the Shaman King.
Sakura beats Naruto for no goal and never openly supported his life-long goal to become the Hokage.
2. Anna is VERY far from being useless. She helped a lot in fights like vs Li Pailong (by summoning his teacher into Yoh) and even vs Zeke (by conquering his Shikigami AND gathering the 1080 beads). Maybe more, I just don't remember. She's a capable fighter on her own. She even stood up and landed a hit (even if it was for a comical relief) on THE MAIN EVIL GUY - Zeke.
Sakura finally learned a few tricks, nice. Name me one significant high-level fight in which she actually helped (apart from being a good healer, OK). I didn't watch the fight vs Sasori, but she had Chiyo by her side, which was a huge help. Now, when did Sakura hit Madara or Tobi? (If she did, do tell me.)
3. Anna never went after Zeke (or anyone). She was always loyal to Yoh and probably loved him, even if it was in her own way. (OK, they were betrothed since kids, so what?)
Sakura was "Sasuke-kun'd" for more time than NOT. Even her "confession" actually stinks with "help my precious Sasuke".
4. Maybe something more, but I'd say it's enough.

Let's compare Tamao and Hinata, for another point.
1. Tamao has a typical girl crush on Yoh, who was never a pariah of his place and had people who looked after him (totally unlike Naruto). I even doubt it's "love", more like a "strong like".
Hinata definitely started with a similar crush, but it grew into a much deeper feeling, that was fueled by understanding his life and hardships, since she had her own and a lot. Her feeling is based on feeling attached to his loneliness and strong spirit of never giving up. Yes, BOTH girls drew strength from their feelings to their respective crushes, but I'm talking about the depth of what went beyond this.
2. Tamao wasn't totally useless, but she never did anything significant for Yoh or the good guys. She just was there as a cheering backup, nothing more. (I don't remember anything, do you?)
Hinata saved Naruto (AND Kakashi, AND Shizune, indirectly but obviously) from Pain. This alone makes her a significant character, on par with the "main" ones. She also took part in yet another feat, saving Naruto and Co, merely 2 weeks ago. To call her "useless", is really stupid.
3. Same as above - might be forgetting something, but the said part is enough.
...SO!
Anna - is very useful and loyal and supportive of his goals.
Sakura - is nearly useless and loves(d?) another guy and is hardly supportive.
Tamao - is nearly useless and simply has a girly crush on the guy.
Hinata - is very useful and has a deep understanding of what he went through.
RESULT:
Anna AND Hinata win.

hm. just saw this thread now.

never really watched or read shaman king, but seems like those characters are pretty similar to the naruto counterparts

Well, I CAN'T link to anything significant due to this stupid site, or I'd show you exactly, why these two trios are the perfect example of how slight changes turn the tides.
Anna is A LOT like Sakura and Tamao is A LOT like Hinata, but the "slight" differences between both "prototypes", is what makes me choose them DIFFERENTLY.
If I could link, I'd show a few VERY "Sakura" moments for Anna and VERY "Hinata" moments for Tamao - they basically ACT the same way, when it comes to PERSONALITIES.
Yet, their RELATIONSHIPS are very different, and it makes sense a lot MORE, than what we see in Naruto.
I'll just say it again:
Anna uses her bitchiness to BOOST Yoh and drive him TOWARDS his goal (unlike Sakura, who is simply a comedic relief punch-him-girl with near-to-no care for Naruto's dreams).
Hinata overcame her shyness to actually HELP Naruto in serious times, while also having a lot in common with him to make them closer (unlike Tamao, who is only using the shy side of Hinata's, not the heroic one, plus the whole childhood thing is missing there).
Thus, Anna AND Hinata are more in-tune with their guys, rather than Tamao AND Sakura.
And more:
Sakura was in love with Sasuke - Anna was in love with no one.
Tamao is actually weak - Hinata is pretty far from being weak.
My IMHO, but a VERY thought-through one.
