Kurenai vs Tayuya

So...I'm interested in knowing who you guys think would win this fight and why. Make the explanation as detailed and developed as possible, please.

I would say Kurenai but they both have similar abilities. Considering Kurenai caught Itachi in her genjutsu and Shika managed to escape Tayuya's. Also Tayuya is relient on the flute which gives Kurenai's lack of reliance on anything breakable the advantage.

But I'm not that sure of my arguement here.

Wow I actually had to THiNk for this one!

All in all kurenai wins! When it comes down to it tayuya has not shown the ability to break out of genjutsu. Even a genin was able to break out of her genjutsu. Kurenai broke out of the great itachi's genjutsu!

Tayuya has to stand still to attack which is a perfect time for for tayuya to fall prey to genjutsu. With hair camo kurenai can go though the ogres or hide ten surprise the enemy.

Another ranged fighter against someone who needs to be close up?

Hows Kurenai gonna deal with the demons and ghosts?

Even shikamaru dodged them. He em had time to think. The monsters could get put in a genjutsu as well

Barely.He was massively cornered and went into hiding.
And even then he needed his entire arms.
He even complimented Tayuyas Intelligence to corner him this much.

Nope.Not gonna happen.
Especially against the Ghosts which are pure mental energy.

Isn't it a bit wierd to have a genjutsu user who can't break out of a genjutsu? I mean, she must've learnt the basics (breaking out of a genjutsu) before she started practicing genjutsu. Even Sakura who's not a genjutsu user could break out of it, then it's pretty obvious that Tayuya would be able to as well.

Kurenai has to stand still to be able to attack too. What if Kurenai falls prey to Tayuya's genjutsu first? Tayuya could make herself invisible by standing behind a tree and preparing to go into C2 and then catch Kurenai in her genjutsu. Can Kurenai break out of sound based genjutsu?

The only reason why I think Tayuya could take this is because she's a long range fighter with sound based genjutsu, which means that she can stay out of sight and attack Kurenai when she least expects it. Also, keep in mind that sound based genjutsu is the most dangerous type of genjutsu. It puts you completely off balance. I'm not saying that sight based genjutsus aren't harmful, but they even stated in one episode (can't remember which one) that sound based genjutsu is the worst type of genjutsu that you could possibly be trapped in.

Plus kurenai has knowledge of the area so she knows the animals and traps of the forests.
Tayuya is overconfident and she can not control the monsters and use genjutsu at the same time. She can only use genjutsu in CS2. Shukamaru dodged the animals with basic speed.

Tayuya wins with CS2 and Ghosts. The best Kurenai has ever, EVER done, is get a nonchalant itatchi in a genjutsu, which he wanted, and immediately had it reversed on her just as casually.

Tayuya pressured Shikamaru, who for all intents and purposes is a combat genius on an intellectual level, as well as literally, forced him into hiding.

It is OOC for tayuya to use the ghost first. She would have to be angered at least. Plus using ghost would be very hard when tayuya is under genjutsu
