Pretty much, I'm not against having guns...

But moderation is in order. You don't need an assult rifle to defend your house, you don't need to carry a gun to somewhere thats already guarded by police, you might need one to keep yourself safe, but you don't need to have a shotgun and you really don't need to have it somewhere openly visible.

More like someone with no social norms, so wasn't bright enough not to joke about serious matters.

It is the theory I support, but I say secret marriage. I think Robert liked her much more than she liked him. So yes, the war was for nothing.
In any case, he is clearly not Ned Stark's bastard. Ned's honor is just the type to let it be thought that he was rutting around when it was really his sister.

As for the "chosen" one. I think the Red Woman is figuring out that it is him, but maybe you are not that far
