Just for the hell of it. How would you compare the best Naruto fanfiction you've ever read to the original manga? Better or worse?

I use that site some of them are good but the standard of writing is rarely consistant and half of them change the writing style part way through. I have read some great fanfics just not for Naruto

I have read some really good fanfiction on ff.net. A lot of them suck, but if you have the patience to look for a good fanfic, you would really be impressed. Lots of people know how to fill in the gaps in the original story. Try reading fanfics by Ariel D. if you like reading about Gaara and you would see what I mean.
