Games: Halo 4

You know, I love this game and it's fun as hell. But there are a few things that just annoy the hell out of me. First off is the storyline. After that chick started talking about Didect, I had no clue what was going on and didn't understand any of it. Second, are the Forerunner enemies. They shoot you, you turn to shoot them, they run off. I can't stand games like that when you have to attack, run, attack, run. I get that it's somewhat tactical, but it's not Halo. Halo you run in there and shoot em up not caring about a damn thing. 3rd, 90% of the time you have to use Forerunner weaponry. Yes, it's cool and all, but I want to use the new Marine weaponry. Aight, my rant is over. What are your thoughts on the game if you played it?

I don't understand how they know so much about the didact or even where they got his name from... don't remember that part in the story..it never happened.

There's more too it then that compared to Halo 3/Every other Halo game this is a major let down......

Idk why it was necessary to include the 'covenant remnant'.... either all covenant or no covenant not just making them canon fodder this isn't even the real Covenant.....

Why are Elites wearing armor in the shape of shorts and tank tops.... why do grunts look like little locusts from GoW....

Multiplayer is lousy..this game doesn't make sense at all.

I felt like I missed a game or something, and I've played all of them. I still haven't beat it though, I think I'm almost done. I think it's too add a variety of enemies. The others had Flood and Covenant and those Forerunner robots. Now we have Forerunners and Covenant. I like having the Covenant in it, but I think we should have seen them more. It also annoyed me that it takes 2+ clips to defeat a big Forerunner (I have no idea what each thing is called, but they're the more humanoid forms) especially when you load them into its face. Also those flying things annoy me.
I never paid attention to the armor actually, too busy killing them to notice, but I did see that they changed the looks.
I've only played local multiplayer, haven't tried online yet. I think the Spartan Ops things is interesting though.

Well, most people and companies who take over something someone else made, they tend to try and make it the same. It honors the game/song/movie when they do that.

That's why I doubt I'll be buying another Halo game if this is going to be the trend.

Well I'm sure they'll hear out the fans and fix what should be fixed for the next one. I loved the graphics and realism of it though...Dat Cortana P: (though her teeth bothered me)...and the sound of the guns.

Maybe they wanted to not make it the seem so they could be separated from Bungie as their own company instead of just being in their shadow?

If they want to be known as the company who ruined halo rather then the company that kept it true to it's roots and respected the fans who've been buying it for over a decade that's on them...

If they wanted to be creative they should've made their own game.

I just tried the multiplayer. It was awesome xD
but that was because I was owning with the Mantis so much. I got 2nd place my first match and 1st my 2nd. During the first match when I got into the mantis a second time, the enemy tried ganging up on me XD

however, generally I suck at good games, so maybe Halo 4 IS bad >.>

The reason you don't understand the story as well as you should is because you haven't seen the terminal videos I'm assuming. The videos in the terminals are absolutely FANTASTIC and clarify pretty much everything.

Plus, about the enemies, the prometheans are humans that have been essentially rendered into data and saved by the didect. They all have certain tricks to take them down. For example, the promethean knights (the big humanoid ones) reveal the weak point in their faces when you take down their shield and it takes one shot from a battle rifle to the exposed face to kill them.

Also, Saiyan, you're complaining, but not giving any sort of legitimate complaint. You're assuming that the covenant force is going to be: Exactly the same after 3+ years absent from the war front. And that the force will be just as powerful, even though they've been fighting a galactic war on multiple fronts for years and years.

Also, the covenant weren't as relevant in the game or plot, so it makes sense for them to not be the focus. They simply happened to be there, because the foreunners are essentially gods to them.

I feel they did an excellent job and stayed true to the Halo Franchise, and even fixed a few pressing problems that the first 3 games had.
