Spoiler Kamui does not explain how Tobi teleports

So, with Kamui Tobi can switch between two Worlds. But how does he teleport to different places on Earth?!!

Im just assuming but i think he takes a short cut through his own dimension and then re-appears in narutos dimension.(Or he can decide to which point in kamui world he teleports, and as its a paralel of our own (speculating) he re appears in the exact spot as inhis dimension only now in our dimension)

I just looked that up and I really couldn't find anything.

I liked to think it was like minecraft in the nether world where each step in the nether is like 8 steps in the real world so when Obito goes to his dimension each step he takes makes him go like 2 blocks in the real world.

But then in a chapter of the manga Obito and Zetsu were racing to a location (Kind of) and Obito tells Zetsu something like "second place wow your slow" and Zetsu says "I can't travel at the speed of light like you"

So either Zetsu was joking or the reason Obito can teleport himself is because when he uses kamui he can move at the speed of light.

If you want to get technical about it, once you start talking about dimensions that we haven't evolved to sense, things become really bizarre. Merely traveling along another dimension (which is defined as a unique degree of freedom) means that distance and position become malleable. To understand this, just look at a mobius strip. If you have another degree of freedom not available to others, you can travel great distances without actually traveling at all. It could be that ten feet in Kamuiland is ten miles in Narutoverse. This is the same concept behind the spacefold -- in fact, it is a spacefold, minus the wormhole.

The alternate dimension corresponds to places in the real world. So it's pretty much safe to assume that, as long as he has it mapped out which places lead to where when transferring from the alternate dimension to the real world, he can travel to any place in the world. Also, considering that fact that people thought he was dead all these years, he would have plenty of time to do this.
