twice as fast as 24 frames per second apparently.
i heard it looks like slightly fast forward? But why do that? have you seen 48 fps? how's it look? IS DIS DA FOOTURE of da philms?

Look, if a video recorded @ 24 FPS gets its FPS doubled, basically makes it 48, the speed will increase 2x.
If you get a 100FPS video, make its FPS 10 (basically 100 / 10 = 10), you will get 10x slower. If the video you say is slightly fast forwarded, it might mean that its FPS was changed to 48 from FPS like 38, that's why it's not like 2x, it might be 0.8x, or something similar. That means the video wasn't recorded @ 48 FPS

Yeah that about sums it up.
It looks way better but some scenes the ones either very slow or very fast paced look sped up. Like running looks sped up, but picking up something off a table looks sped up too and inbetween it's not so bad. Doubt I'd see it again, atleast not in 3d. |
