The current Opener: A vital discussion point

The current opener shows the faces of Naruto and Sakura. Whereas Naruto just turns around, Sakura breaks out in tears immediately.

Is this a brilliant troll of Sakura by the animators? Discuss.

I thought Sakura was crying about something sasuke related

Sasuke wasn't even there. She just started crying like the weeper she is. Heehee

But the opening scene you see Sasuke under water and then that's it for him

Sakura WAS crying about Sasuke.
Like I said, even if it's kinda hard to tell her exact current feelings towards him, she stil THINKS about him a lot.
Also, reminds me a lot about MKR intro 3 around 0:46 - the mirror-pendant thingy and Hikaru crying over Lantis.

Well after all the other anime I've watched, it's not surprising for a main character to have an attraction to a homicidal maniac.

Last time I followed the story sasuke had just gotten Itachi's mangekyo sharingan, so for all I know he's turned a new leaf.

I mean..it's naruto:Where the villians aren't really villians

How does that relate? Well if he reverts back to good, then ofc it'll turn out that way

Sakura cried before she coudl even try to stab Sasuke. At least Danzo is useful for something. Sakura can't do anything.

If Bulma wanted Vegeta dead (BEFORE she fell for him; she had around the same time Sakura had, or less), he'd be dead the next breakfast...
She's a freaking scientist, so no prob to just poison him.
Still, she (OK, off-screen) managed to turn him from madman-who-enjoys-killing into killer-who-has-dear-people-he-defends over those few years.
And he started their relationship by threatening to kill her, not being on her TEAM.
In Sakura's case, if she'd make the same effect on Sasuke, that is comparable to Vegeta-vs-Buu actions (and he still went Majin, mind you - pretty Orochimarish), she'd NEVER had to either try to kill him OR have him nearly kill Naruto for a retrieval attempt.
So, yes, Sasuke is way worse than Vegeta, and also way more boring.
