Who will win? Tsunade or Third Hokage

I always wondered if Tsunade will win against the Third Hokage. Well Orchimaru apparently did win against his former master so what do you think of the outcome??????

Well... the first thing to note is that the third has earth and fire chakra nature, and tsunade seems to present none (or at least she doesn't use any). So there are no significant strengths and weaknesses off the bat anyway.

Tsunade's abilities mainly lie in her brute strength and her medical ninjutsu. She lacks in speed and so is a close combat taijutsu master.

She is considered to be unsurpassed as far as controlling her strength goes. Examples are when she flicked naruto in the forehead and he went flying back, or

when she crushed madara's susano'o's rib cage and later a formed susano'o.

One direct hit and the enemy will have broken bones, and may even die.

Her medical ninjutsu skills are almost on par with Hashirama Senju's. She is hailed as the most skilled medical-nin of her time, and has been seen doing medical tasks beyond what any other human can perform. Examples are when she saved Choji from the pills during the sasuke retrieval arc, saved Rock Lee from his spinal injury, and was sought by orochimaru when he wanted his arms healed. She can use Ninja Art: Mitotic Regeneration, a jutsu that can replace her cells as she needed to, even in battle.

With Tsunade's high reserves of chakra, and with her precise chakra control, she can use this jutsu a few times in battle, with it being just as effective as izanagi (except for the surprise element).

Hiruzen on the other hand however is a mid range fighter using both earth and fire style jutsu, or a mix of the two. Hiruzen has many jutsu in his arsenal, many of which are his own original jutsu for example the shadow shuriken technique, so Tsunade will not see it coming.

Verdict:
Tsunade in essence needs to get close to her target to land a hit with her brute force. Hiruzen has a wide range of mid range jutsu, and could probably keep her at a distance. That said Tsunade's mitotic regeneration could prove problematic as she could appear out of nowhere after getting hit by a jutsu, recovered, and ready with a flick/punch/kick. Hiruzen's summoning is monkey king enma which by feats, has shown to be great at both offense and defense, with his Adamantine Prison Wall and Adamantine Nyoi, Transformation: Vajra Nyoi. Tsunade's summoning, Katsuyu can vary in size from as big as orochimaru's summoning manda, to the size of your palm. With this ability, she has lots of uses, including protecting Tsunade from physical damage by surrounding her, spitting acid that can corrode through rock easily, and she can be very evasive by splitting into smaller slugs before impact. She would be most problematic for hiruzen as she can be used as an indestructible defense (as seen when she helped a huge number of people survive pain's Almighty push, and again when she survived in naruto's eight tails chakra).

I think this would be very close and could go both ways. Hiruzen could win this one - He has shown to have mastered techniques very easily, and with his great chakra control, he can use them with little exhaustion. He can use numerous fire and earth styles to keep Tsunade at bay (I think fire style might actually affect katsuyu too). Tsunade could also win, by using Katsuyu to protect her from attacks she cannot evade (due to her lack of speed). That along with mitotic regeneration could surprise hiruzen. Remember, all that's needed is one punch to knock Hiruzen out!

We'll need a bit of explaining on why Tsunade is the better hokage. I thought Hiruzen was good, and wise.. Tsunade really only has katsuyu to protect everyone, and she doesn't have the battle strength to really defend the leaf. Hiruzen did however
