Official Pokemon Roleplaying Thread!

[Pool]

The leader, Jolt, sent out his Raichu. Loop threw a pokeball and decided to use Spinirak as his first pokemon. So, this is the same Raichu as earlier Loop thought. That means it for sure has Volt Tackle, ExtremeSpeed, Iron Tail, and Focus Blast. "Spinirak, use Poison Sting!" Loop commanded. Jolt laughed at this as Spinirak shot needles dipped in poison in Raichu's direction. Raichu instinctively used Iron Tail and bashed away the needles as if they were nothing. "Raichu, use Extreme Speed then Iron Tail!" Jolt commanded. Raichu rushed in towards Spinirak with Extremespeed and attacked with Iron Tail. But, the Iron tail missed! Spinirak was too small and Raichu could not aim correctly. "Quick, Electroweb!" Loop said. Spinirak shot out a web with electric current at Raichu. The web hit, but Raichu used its natural ability to absorb the electricity to make itself more powerful! Damn it... Loop thought. "Agility!" Spinirak got increasingly faster, and was ready to strike back. "Volt Tackle!" Jolt commanded. The panel under Spinirak suddenly turned red. Spinirak was alarmed by this and used its speed to flee the panel it was on. Hm... the electrocuting panels keeps his opponents on their toes... Loop thought to himself. Raichu began charging electric energy when Loop had an idea. "Sucker Punch!" Spinirak rushed Raichu and was able to get a fairly powerful hit across while Raichu unleashed Volt Tackle. Both Spinirak and Raichu were in critical condition at this point, each at the brink of fainting. "Baton Pass!" Loop commanded. Jolt's jaw dropped when those words escaped Loop's mouth. Spinirak tossed a baton into the air and was returned to its pokeball while Aipom jumped out of its pokeball and caught the baton while perfectly executing a front flip. It landed on the ground on it's legs and grimaced at Raichu. Loop took a moment to talk to Spinirak's pokeball. "You did amazing" Loop explained. "You took on the Raichu while the odds were completely in its favor and completely owned everybody. It was great" Loop put Spiniraks pokeball in his pocket and focused on the battle once more. "Iron Tail!" Jolt yelled angrily at his pokemon. Raichu used what energy it had left to give off a sad attempt at an Iron Tail. "Fire Punch!" Loop yelled. He had been itching to use the newly mastered move in an official battle. Aipom's tail ignited a red hot flame and met the Iron Tail. A mini-explosion happened and when the smoke cleared, Aipom was dancing around while Raichu was on the ground, fainted!

"Aipom is the winner!" The ref said.

Loop returned Aipom to its pokeball. The platforms descended and Jolt gave a badge to Loop, despite what he wanted to do. He pouted for a while then began to heal his Raichu who he shortly after returned. Loop walked over to Nora in the stand and sat back down, waiting to see if Julius would challenge Jolt.

Nora-what an amazing battle. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Your Pokemon are so strong ..... But you have a Long way to go if you want to beat my main man Tragic. Oh no look at the time an hour has already passed I got to jet.
(Nora sprints out of the gym....... Then sprints back into they gym to give Loop a hug then sprints to meet up with Tragic

Julius smiled.

"It seems it's my turn now."

Julius walked onto the now descended platform as the leader returned from healing his Raichu. He looked into the stands and saw Loop sitting there. Julius smiled as he turned back to the gym leader.

"I'm ready for my gym battle."

Tragic- so which way now straight down correct?
Nora-Um .... No actually we gotta make a right
Tragic-Huh? Really but I thought......
Nora-Nope your wrong I'm right

(Unknowingly to tragic they we re headed towards the alpha ruins)

Tragic- what is this place? Are you sure were going the right way?
Nora-welcome to the alpha ruins!
Tragic- the what? I thought we were getting the next gym badges.... Did you lie to me ??!
Nora- oh come now it was more of a simple trick a minor detour if you will. I wanted to explore these ruins since I was a kid. As a breeder and Pokemon fan I could not pass this up.
Tragic-Whatever maybe I can fine a useful Pokemon.
Nora- that's the spirit! Lets split up so we can cover more ground.
Tragic- are you sure that is a good idea?
Nora- please what's the worst that could happen?

Cadet- mam have you gotten any info on your criminal?
Jenny- just a hunch. I figure he is a trainer. I have looked at Pokemon gym battles and jolt battles a houndour that knew smog. I did not get a good look at the foe. The camera was on jolt too much.
Cadet- so what now
Jenny- I am off to find him
Cadet- but where
Jenny- the ruins no criminal can resist the treasures that are held there

"The battle between the challenger and Jolt of Violet City begins as soon as the challenger send out a pokemon!" The ref said.

[Hozuki]

The gym leader announced the start of the battle and both were lifted into the air. Jolt sent out his Raichu and Julius sent out Absol.

"Sol!"

Absol was excited for the first gym battle.

[Pool]

Jolt: "Ah, so a dark type. Start off with Focus Blast then go into Iron tail!" Jolt commanded. Raichu shot a mysterious brown shot at Absol. It went off course and missed. "Damn it" Jolt said to himself. Raichu rushed at Absol and struck at it with a tail coated in iron.

Nora's adventure

"Wow its so beautiful here. I can not let all of this beauty go to waste I must share it! Come out yall"-She yelled as she summoned Petal (Chikorita) n Beauty (Caterpie)
*the appeared with happy faces amazed my the scenery*

"What do you think your doing here missy the ruins are closed due to reasearch"-A worker said

"Oh I am so sorry sir I will get out of the way. We will leave if we must but we really wanted to...."-She said

"GO NOW SCRAM GIRLY"-the male worker yelled
*Nora and her friends left the other way

(If He thinks I am leaving with that attidude while I just got here he has another thing comming)-She thought

"All Clear guys t Operation:Unknown is A-go!"-The man whipsered into his sleeve where a communicater was placed

"Excellent we shall activate our plan than"- a mysterious voice responded from the sleeve

Tragic's adventure

*Tragic walks thoughout the ruins*
"Appear"-He yelled as he summoned Hellgar
"Let's find ourself a pokemon"-I said while I took out Dexter .
"Dexter scan the area and tell me the pokemon that are in this area"-I said
*Dexter was buzzing and hissing not functioning correctly*
"Figures"-I shurgged
"I guess we are going to have to depend on your sensing skillz"-I said

*Walks thought ruins.... suddenly Tragic and Hellgar stop in their tracks to a strange chirp*

"Look Hellgar that bird on that temple. "-I said too loud

*natu was startled and hopped away so we gave chase. it evenutally teleported away*

"Erg...."-I said "We can not let this pokemon get away"-I said as I released the rest of my pokemon!

"Fan out and look for Natu!"-I commanded


*a few minutes of searching later Lady-B taking a birds view finds the pokemon and reports back to Hellgar and eye while Goul (Gastly) kept its eye on it*

*We all regrouped and hit quietly from Natu*

"Now how do we get it to stay?"-I said quietly

*Goul's eyes suddenly turned red and both pokemon are surronded in a pink aura*

"I learned this at school! You used Mean Look right? SWEET!"-I stated

"Now lets get loud Goul hit it with night shade then hypnois!"-I commanded

*Natu matched Night Shade with Night SHade and used teleport to dodge the hypnosis! It then attacked with Peck!*

*Goul intercepted the peck and slapped it away with lick*

*Natu was VERY intelligent and knew it could not win so it spamed teleport and barrages of peck*

*Goul could not keep up and recieved damage. Yet suddenly Gould was surronded by a red aura. It was in massive pain but suddenly so was Natu! Natu was in constant pain and fell to the ground*

"Wow that was curse! I see now that it is in pain use Hypnosis!*
Goul's eyes turned red and rings suddenly appeared an hit Natu which made it sleep... suddenly Goul fell as sleep as well*

"I don't know whats happening but go pokeball"-I said as I threw it!
*the pokeball wiggled yet Natu was caught*

"FInnally returen Goul"-I said

"What is it"-Jenny asks

"It appears there is a disturbance in the ruins mam"-The cadet answers

"Elaboration"-She stated

"We have picked up powerful pshychic energy levels.... stronger than usual it is very odd. We are sending back up"-The cadet said

"Very well I will try to handle the situation until back up is presented"-she said as she ran into the ruins

"Lets go Noctowl! "
*a shiny Noctowl popped out of its cage
"With a bird's eye view try to find anything suspicious and report it back kk?"-she said
*Noctowl flew off into the air and Jenny investigated the ruins*

*Noctowl and Jenny meet up to find a bunch of scientist/researchers DEAD!!!

"H---Help"a weak voice begged

*Jenny races over to find a man seriously wounded*

"What happened?"-she asked trying to keep calm

"Gave Robbs... .hurry"-the man said with his final words

Mystery Man Journey

Spoiler:

(Now to procede with the plan)the man thought with a Magnezone floating with him

He traveled down each chamber

"I activate ESCAPE ROPE"
*Champer opens*

"FLASH"-The man says as he puts on sunglasses
*2nd chamber opens*

"Excellent now I present thy WATER STONE! ACTIVATE!"
*another champer opens*

"Now for the last chamber!"he says as he pulls out a Ho-OH feather and sprinkles Sacred Ash onto the feather
*the last chamber activates and a bright light shines from all of the pillars and the temples crumble a bit while the bright light soars into the sky

As the Raichu missed with Focus Blast, Absol set up and clashed with Raichu's Iron Tail with Night Slash. The two pokemon were sent backwards.

"Freezing Slash! Like we practiced!"


Absol blew a freezing cold barrage of snow at Raichu (Blizzard) and jumped into the air. Her fin glowed pink and she fired a rippling wave of psychic energy towards the blizzard (Psycho Cut). It slashed the blizzard in half and the pink glow turned slightly bluish as the shockwave imbued with psychic energy and freezing snow sped towards the Raichu.

"Extreme Speed into Volt Tackle!" Jolt yelled at his pokemon. Raichu rushed into both the blizzard and the Psycho Cut with Volt Tackle, taking close to the full damage of both of the attacks. Raichu became coated in electricity and rushed at Absol, hoping for a knockout. Raichu became very exhausted after that attack and fell to the ground. But could Absol hang on?

Tragic Story

*Tragic releases Goul and Natu and gives them potions and wait as they wake up*

"What the heck was that"-I yelled as I tried to stand my ground

*Natu and Tragic lock into eye contact! Suddenly Natu's eyes and Tragic's eyes glow a pink color and they share a vision into the future

Vision

fades in ....a blurry vision of a giant portal that Nora falls into ..... 3 giant beats clashing witn Tragic in the middle...... many birds flying...... a sinking Johto...... fades out

"DId I just see into the future? Was that future sight?

*Suddenly a beam of light was shooting towards the sky and many small black pokemon in the shape of letters were going crazy dancing around the light*

"I gotta find Nora lets go"-he yelled yet for some reason followed Natu

Nora's Story

"Hey I don't like this one bit" she said as she dropped to the ground

*a swarm of unown rushed out of the crumbling temple Nora and her ganged ducked to get out of the way*

"Look there is one more coming! We gotta catch this maybe it knows a way out of this crubling thing!

"Beauty use Electroweb to slow it down then attack with Bug Bite! Petal you settle it down with posion powder"-She commanded

*Unown was barraged and fell to the ground*
"Go pokeball"-she yelled... the pokeball caught the mysterious pokemon and she obtained a new pokemon!

"Oh no the tower is crubling too fast"-she yelled

*Caterpie jumped in the air shooting out a ton of string shot trying to keep some of the temple together. It wrapped almost every inch of the area around her friend. While spinning it also caught itself in a web. Caterpie shined bright like a diamond and evolved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INTO METAPOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The temple then fell yet Metapod used harden to protect its friends from major harm.*

"Excellent job ... go Unown get us out of here!"-she yelled
*Unown fired a strange red beam from its eye making a pathway to the free world*

*the gang escaped with their lives in tact*

Mystery man

"Boss you were right everything is going according to plan! The bright light is shining intensly into the sky! The unown are prancing around it"-the man said into his sleeve

"Of course I was right so begin with phase 2"-the voice said from the sleeve

"RIght Weavile come on out"-He exclaimed as a weavile popped out

"Use Flase Swipe on different shaped pokemon and I will throw pokeballs to catch them. With this chart I stole from those nerds identifiying them will be cake"-he exlpained as he and weavile started to catch more and more unown

Jenny story

*the back-up meets up with Jenny*

"Officer we saw the beam of light a mile away and we were blessed enough to meet up with you in time! What's going on"-a cadet asked

"I will fill you in on the way. There are 6 of you so 2 of you stay here with the wounded and the other 2 will go search for any one-or-thing that needs help or anything usefull you can find like clues. The last 2 will come with me to follow that beam of line

"LET's GO GO GO"-she yelled as they all disspersed

*Jenny fills the others in on the limited info she knows*

Nicolas walked with Charmander to the sign that lead them to Route 1 and toward Viridian City. "Charmander, I want you to remember this place and day because I know I will. This is the day that everything changes for us." Charmander shook his head in agreement and then the two walked were just about to walk out of Pallet Town when just then Nicolas heard someone yelling his name and telling him to stop. He turned to see that Professor Oak was running up to him.
It turns out that Professor Oak thought that Nicolas wasn't ready to go out into the wild. After the professor went through Nicolas bag and saw that had 2 potions, 5 pokeballs, and 1 antidote. Professor Oak then reached into his back pocket and hand Nicolas a pokedex, told him good luck and went on his way. Nicolas nodded and being walking down Route 1.

While walking along Route 1 they encountered a strange boy.
"Hey do you wanna know how to catch pokemon?"
Nicolas just stared at him slightly confused but refused since he figured he knew how. Just then a rustling noise came from behind them. "CHAR!" Charmander was on guard now waiting for something to jump out at them. Nicolas didn't know what would pop out but whatever it was he knew they can take it and maybe he would gain a new friend.
"Charmander, when it shows it face hit with a little ember." Charmander nodded as they waited. Then out of nowhere a Pidgey comes charging at them.
Charmander jumped out of the way just in time and the Pidgey hit a rock. While it was dazed from it's impact Charamder used Ember but aimed at its feet. The Pidgey snapped out of it daze and its beck started to glow. "Charmader watch out for it peck attack and then use Smoke Screen followed by Scratch" Charamander prepared to jump out of the way but it was too late Pidgey's attack made contact but it wasn't enough to knock Charmander out of the fight. Pidgey charged at him again for another tackle but Charamnder used Smoke Screen before Pidgey got close. The Pidgey stopped in its tracks looking around trying to see Charmander. By the time Pidgey saw the flash of light for Charmander's tail it was to late and was getting hit by Scratch. Pidgey got up and was ready for more but it was obviously tired out.
"Now's my chance!" Nicolas said as he threw a Pokeball at the Pidgey. The ball shook a few times while the light was blinking. Then this stopped and the light turned red. "Awesome! I got a new friend!" Nicolas yelled as he pet Charmander. "Good job buddy but there are going to be stronger Pokemon than this so we got to be ready for anything." "CHAR!" Charamander agreed. And with that the two of them continued down Route 1.

Part 3

*The Unown were dropping like flies as the mystery Man and Weavile were easily catching their prey*

"Your Under Arrest"-the policeofficers stated

"Oh Please use GRAVITY Magnezone"-the mystery man commanded

*suddenly the gravity around us was intense and we were forced to slam into the ground so that we could not move. Yet Hellgar being a Dark type was still standing.*

"Hellgar you must fight and win"-I said with struggle

"Magnezone you can finish this by yourself I am busy catching something"-the mystery man said"

BATTLE

Spoiler:

-Hellgar started by using ember
-Magnezone then span around at a rapid rate using GYRO BALL to wack away the puny flames
-Magnezone then let of a serious roar with METAL SOUND
-Hellgar was very effected due to its sensitive hearing
-Magnezone then used LOCKED ON and followed up with ZAP CANNON
-Hellgar was blasted away and K.O.

"Well that was easier than I thought"-the mystery man said

"HELLGAR"-Nora and Tragic cried

"Might as well finish you all off now huh?"-the mystery man said

"DRACO METEOR"-A voice yelled

*thousands of metoers crashed down onto the enemy

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*a shield appeared around the foes. Magnezone used PROTECT just in time. The mystery man stood with many pokeballs in his grasp.*

"I'd love to stay and chat but I am too busy to battle the champion!"-the mystery man proclaimed

* Weavile then uses FAKE OUT to make everyone flinch! Weavile then uses faint attack to sommon a dark aura as the man threw down a smoke bomb.... as everyone stopped fliniching and as the smoke cleared the enemy got away and the gravity returned to normal*

"Well if it isn't Lance-the offcciers thanks him and so did Nora.

*Tragic went to return Hellgar and walked out of the Ruins*

"Thank you all for your help. Sorry for the short good-bye but we are on a mission"-she said as she went to catch up with Tragic

"WAIT!!! Take this"-Jenny said as she threw 2 POKEGEARS!!!

"We might need two for questioning. You two have been through a lot so we will let you guys off for now but next time we meet we may need to catch up. Stay safe and use it if your in trouble"-she explained

"Thanks"-Nora said as she waved her hand in the air while running to get with Tragic

"We need to talk"Lance stated to Jenny

As the Raichu raced through Absol's Freezing Slash combination attack, Julius was a bit stunned.

'The power of a gym leader...'

"Absol! This is going to be a battle of power. Meet his Volt Tackle with Night Slash!"

Absol's fins started to glow purple as a glowing dark purple aura surrounded her. Absol raced and she met the Volt Tackle. The two pokemon broke out and ended on two opposite sides of the field. Waiting for who will faint first.

*Walks down route 32 to a trail of many K.O'd pokemon*

"Wow did a tornado blew through here or something? What could have done this?"-Nora asked holding back tears

"I don't know but I NEED to find out"-Tragic stated as he took out Dexter.
*a bright light shined from Dexter in a scanning fasion over the area*

Dexter: From the muddy wet area this trail was left by a pokemon my wooper

"I see! Dexter take me to the area of this pokemon"-I said as we searched the area high and low

*after minutes of searching they find a wooper defeating anothe pokemon. With the trial of fainted pokemon it was easy to find the pokemon*

"Dexter is that it"-I asked

Jolt's Raichu could not handle the caliber of the attacks. It fainted and Julius was declared the winner of the gym battle. Jolt owned up to getting beat this time and congratulated Julius when he handed him the badge. Loop walked over to Julius and greeted him and praised him for the win.

*the pair travel further down route 32 to meet a bunch of fisherman*

"What's with all of the fisherman"-Nora asked on of them

"You mean you have not heard? A Super strong Wooper is said to lived here. We are trying to find and catch it"-he stated

"I don't see how that will happen when I catch it first"-I yelled

"Look kid you might be good at catching pokemon on land but I have been fishing for years and you don't have the skillz"-He said

"We'll see when I am the victor!"-I exclaimed

*arrives at pokemon center and heals pokemon*

"So are you ready to go to the next town?"-nora asked

"Of course not you were listening right? I am going to catch that wooper!"-I stated

"Oh you were serious? The way you got beat last time I thought you would give up. I thought you were just bluffing!"-She laughed
"Come on I just want to see my uncle kurt"-she said with joy

"YOU KNOW KURT!!! HE IS MY HERO!!!! PLEASE IF YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH HIM THEN YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH ME. TAKE THIS AS A TOKEN OF FRIENDSHIP!"-a strange fan yelled as he gave each of us a lure ball

"thanks"-we said as one

"WIth the lure ball it will help you catch water pokemon. Thanks to Kurt you have a beter chance of catching that wooper. No thanks is needed by the way just give Kurt my best"-he said

"Will do"-Nora responded

[Pool]

Loop walked out of the gym with his newly acquired badge in hand. He's glad that he won, even without one pokemon fainting. Loop got his pokemon healed once more by the nice lady at the pokemon center and walked out of the city to the west. On the path, he found a lone pokeball. He picked it up, not thinking much of it. Loop reached a group of people all huddled around. "What's going on here" he said as he pushed through the crowd. "There's a weird tree blocking the way!" Someone else called out. The tree was brown and had some awkward branches. Everybody was complaining about this and Loop decided to head south, bypassing the tree.

[Hozuki]

((Sure. Btw, is your name Tragic or Tyrant? I'm confused o.o))

Loop walked up to him and congratulated him.

"Heh, yeah. His Raichu was pretty good too."

Julius continued outside and looked in the direction of the Ruins of the Alph, then the route to the next city.

"Er... This way."

Julius walked towards the Ruins of the Alph.

"Uhh... Yeah" Loop followed Julius on their way to the Ruins of Alph.
