Madara (controlling kyuubi) and Obito VS Hashirama (1st hokage)

Who would win? Give good reasons for your answers

Madara and Obito.

Hashi supposedly was on fairly even terms with Madara alone. Obito, having both the rinnegan and sharingan would easily push the tide in their favor.

Plus, we don't have very many feats for Hashi beyond what Madara himself has said or used.

Did Madara have the rinnegan at the time of his fight against hashirama, or was it later that he awakened it? And I can't remember but how did he awaken it?

Yes, what a dangerous jutsu. I should've had Madara (with kyuubi, rinnegan, and implanted hashirama cells) vs hashirama himself

Almost any opponent would win if they had prep and knowledge. Which he doesn't even have for obito.

By saying hashirama gets prep, I'm assuming you also mean that obito and madara both get prep.

In which case, they still proceed to take a smelly dump on Hashirama.

Obito could easily solo Hashirama. It's implied that Madara taught Obito about Mokuton so he likely has knowledge on Advent of Flowering Trees and Hashirama has nothing that can hurt him. Assuming that Obito didn't know of the attack Hashirama would still be warped away to Kamuiland before Obito would lose consciousness from the pollen.

I don't know about that, Minato was able to figure out obito's jutsu and counterattack it within a short period of time. I can't imagine the hokage being unable to figure a way out of beating him. Now when he fights Madara alongside Obito, it's a different story altogether. My opinion is, Madara is waaaayy stronger than Obito. Obito is just sort of in the way, a puppet.

Obito does seem to have knowledge of the first's jutsu, but I'm sure there is a jutsu that the first didn't show madara, that obito is unaware of.

Edit: I wish that they had a proper fight between first hokage and madara. Would love to see it!

What state are Madara and Obito in? Pre-upgrade days? Original Madara like he actually was in the fight and Obito with his Sharingan, or Obito with the Rinnegan and Mokuton upgrade?

I'm CAPSing words to get other readers' attention to this comment as it explains a few things about this thread's poll.

Madara and obito both have MANGEKYO SHARINGANS (in the case of madara, it is an eternal mangekyo). They DON'T have the rinnegan, as the fight is between madara (at the time of his fight against hashirama) and obito (at the time of the nine tails attack on the leaf). BOTH Madara and Obito are controlling the nine tails together, and have good co-ordination with attacks together. Obito has some wood style (in accordance with his skills during his fight against Minato), but Madara doesn't, despite him teaching Obito it later on. Obito has little knowledge of Hashirama's powers as it wasn't long after Rin's death when he attacked the village (so I assume not much was taught to him at this point except for kamui etc).

They are the conditions of the poll, sorry for it being so unclear before.
