This reminds me of when we were waiting for storm generations. They kept showing us new characters and they suddenly announced that half of them were support only...it seems to be the same case with hack and slash-only characters. Of course nothing is official yet so there is still hope.

um no offence but the edo swords men with exception to some were pretty much fodder ninja who got wiped out quickly ...the G&S bros are not my favs but they are way more powerful plz dont insult them that bad lol..dont group them together lol...jk anyhow even if they were boss only which I doubt its still epic to have them regardless.

Well if I were you I would not be frowning but smiling soon more things will come as a matter of fact we may see a new trailer soon and if not there will be more new media concerning naruto the developers have spoiled us actually I cant name another game that has kept us this much updated ....

Well its still far to early to0 say it like this ....besides if they create these models for story I am sure they can be seen in vs mode as well plus they have shown enough to have a move set for vs mode..but at this point we must wait and see however seeing them confirmed should be bringing in hope yet many of you are still seemingly down or critical this is a good sign for things to come.
and even if there are storymode chars only thats still better than nothing .....even though I doubt thats the case.

Anyhow everyone I am delighted to see the G&S bros and I hope many of you are as well it seems like even when chars get revealed many of you are still shrouded in doubt ....its better to have chars confirmed and they are confirmed are they not? Now you worry are they playable ...the trend seems to be begging for chars then when the game releases there are few who use them ...well if they are playable I hope all you that wanted them playable actually use them because I will not.

i was comparing them because both sets of characters are in that particular status right now thats all it had nothing to do with their abilities. however you would think Kinkaku and Ginkaku would be playable considering how much potential they have as characters, i always thought they would fight together but it seems its just one at a time in this battle..or the other brother could be just off screen.

With this information and the previous scan showing off the Konoha 11, I do believe a new trailer is in order But I'm not giving it until December, that's probably when they'll do it, at the next event :/

Oh no, if Ginkaku and Kinkaku were playable I'm sure the scan would have shown that off instead of them in a hack and slash mode, like how the seven ninja swordsmen were revealed as hack and slash. But anything is still possible.

To be honest I'm not too bummed out about this one. Now if they make the Jinchuurikki hack and slash only, then I'll get annoyed.

EDIT: Actually, the fact that the brothers have their own health meters on the top right is interesting...did the seven swordsmen have that? I guess I'm a little more hopeful after noticing that...

I've seen this mentality a few times, and I wonder: Why really? You'd prefer them to make the game even less complete by making a character seem non-existent when they should at least be there to prove their place in the story? I don't know, but I'd prefer to see Kinkaku and Ginkaku as boss battles more so then not seeing them at all. It'd just look lazy on CC2's part otherwise.
