Chronicle: 9.5/10
This movie was very well done. The story was excellent and I enjoyed how it seemed be being shot from a normal camera as opposed to studio cameras the entire time. The movie itself felt very real, like I could see the characters doing what they were doing. It had it's funny moments and was just awesome. Speaking of the characters, they were also very well done. Especially Andrew, who fascinated me the entire time. There were a lot of scenes which were transitioned in a way that made the cut between scenes obvious. I very much enjoyed the psychological aspect mixed in with the action, fantasy and drama though.

I'm going to review the movies I watched this night and last night.
The Cabin In The Woods: 9.7/10 This movie was really great, and extremely well done. The characters weren't just generic slasher movie stereotypes, they were believable mostly. Except when the movie was obviously trying to make them generic slasher movie stereotypes. The concept of the movie is great and extremely creative, and didn't feel like just another entry into the horror genre, it seems like it can be a game changer, though it probably won't. I might just be rating this high because Joss Whedon, but I'm a fanboy. The cast was great during the whole movie. Lastly, the comedy was hilarious and the terrifying scenes where actually pretty scary. The reason I deduct points is because it kind of felt like it lost momentum for me during the last act of the movie. Say Anything...: 9/10 I was going into this movie expecting it to be a happy movie about two teenagers that fell in love in school. I was wrong, because one of the first things they show is the characters graduating high school. Well then. Also, the movie can get just downright depressing at scenes, at least for me it did. This is probably my favorite John Cusack movie, I felt his character was believable and just plain awesome. I would be his bro in real life. I've seen a few 80s movies and I can say this is solidly in my top 2, because it didn't beat The Breakfast Club. Quote:

Moonrise Kingdom (10/10) - Caught this one the other day. It was absolutely adorable. It had funny moments throughout as well. If you like weird movies(Wes Anderson directed it), definitely check it out.

The Debt 6/10 The movie was well done, I just found it a little lacking. I wish the romance was played out a little more, it seemed to happen kind of fast. I also wish there was more to the "mission". I really enjoyed the ending though.

I have a few movies to review.. actually a lot but I will start with the most recent. I saw Resident Evil: Retribution.. e.e honestly I only went because a friend of mine twisted my arm and pulled out the old you owe me tactic... I give it a 3/10. I wouldn't waste my time to be honest.
On Netflix I finally saw The Grey.. I give this movie a 7/10. It was pretty good but really the ending was predictable. I have been watching older movies and just the other night I watched The Prophecy, The Prophecy 2 and The Prophecy Uprising. The first one gets a 7/10, second one gets 7/10 and Uprising gets an 8/10. There are more but I wait til later... xD

Resident Evil Retribution 10/10
Everyone says it sucks but I thought it was cool, I saw it in 3d as well. It made me become a fan of Milla Jovovich, I bought her autograph because of that movie. It was great. |

Green Zone... 8.5/10
Thought this movie was great. Action scenes were intense, love the sounds and looks of the guns...in particular the M4. Story is great and builds up nicely towards the ending.

Seal Team Six: Raid of Osama Bin Laden
10/10 I personally thought this movie was well done. It told about the events leading up to the raid of the house, and the raid itself, and what I liked most about it was that is an actual movie and not a documentary. Surprising since it was on the national geographic channel lol. But I felt a lot of emotion in the movie, and the action scenes were great. Hard to see some things when it switches to helmet cam, but most likely that was done on purpose. In real life it's not like Call of Duty where it's easy to see the enemies and surroundings. Then again, I've never been to war, so I don't know, but it was still neatly done. I also liked how they showed us that even though they're S.E.A.L.S, they're still human and not always perfect. Overall, awesome movie. If you want to see how it all played out from the inside, I'd reccomend this movie to you.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower: 10/10
I loved the book and I loved the movie. It had moments that were just hilarious and others where you can't help but tear up a bit. I highly recommend this film. Youth in Revolt: 8/10 This movie was so funny. Loved the scenes with Francois because Michael Cera with a pencil-thin mustache and acting tough is just hilarious. Only thing I didn't like about the film is the girl he has a crush on. I just didn't like her. She seemed very pretentious and annoying at times. That didn't affect the film though, I just didn't like her lol. The Art of Getting By: 9/10 I really enjoyed this movie. Guy falls for girl, she falls for him, he doesn't do anything and loses her. That's the main plot of the movie and that's in the trailer so it's not a spoiler! But yeah, liked the movie. The ending didn't make me feel anything though. It was like my emotions stayed at baseline during it. Oh well.

Anyways over the movie I rented the Chernobyl Diaries off of Direct TV. I wasn't expecting to much but it ended up being pretty good. I know a lot of people like the TV series The Walking Dead, you might want to check out The Chernobyl Diaries aswell. Story: Its about a guy and his GF and her best friend who go on a vacation all through Europe. They stop to see the guy's older brother and he talks them out of going to Moscow but to go on this "extreme tour" to Chernobyl. (If you don't know what Cherynobyl read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_disaster) Anyways the film follows the group as the join up with two others another bf and gf combo. The encounter mutant fish, a freaked out bear, vicious dogs, and mutant people who eventual kill them all off except for one girl who escapes but is so poisoned by the radiation she was just about to die when the government catches her and she thinks she is safe.. I will end it there. I have seen worse movies and better movies. It gets a 7.5/10 from me

The Da Vinci Code
7/10 A quite well-made movie that was thrilling all the way through, with unexpected turns of events. However, I was confused at some points and when you put it all together, this simply wasn't my kind of movie. Nevertheless it was definitely worth seeing, although it can feel a little long with its 3 hours of content. It was not bad, but it was not the best movie I've ever seen.

Wreck-It Ralph
9.5/10 This film was awesome, especially for a gamer like me. The plot was different, the characters were great (I don't think I dislike or hate any of them, besides Taffyta and the others like her, but that's due to my own experiences with bullying), and I'll admit I cried at some parts. I think I have a new favorite character in King Candy too.

Seeing the movie on opening night was amazing. The movie was super funny and sad (During certain moments in the movie). Pointing out all the references with my friend was really fun too. And also predicting the movies events and even some lines (word by word too!). Was really fun. The first world he went to surprised me a bit. I expected them to be normal. Not...giant e.e Anyways I don't want to say much more. |

Red Dawn a solid 7 on the mediocre chart. Though mildly entertaining several parts made me shake my head. The first scenes featuring a scrambling quarterback driving for a touchdown leaving his receivers open.
![]() Also the fact the soviets took over so fast is so unrealistic. Them taking over suburbia is a given. But they obviously didnt stop in this neighborhood ![]() Those two facts left me shaking my head. Which still makes twighlight still number one on my movie list right now. Every weak it's out my pervy face gets a workout. The fans are not too shabby if you know what I mean. ![]() Well that concludes my review. Look at Pac throw up that wolverines.

The Lightning Thief 3/10
I understand that because of copyright, changes must be made; but for a man who directed the first 2 Harry Potter movies, this was a disappointment. Even the characters personalities changed. On top of that, the script was on the mediocre side. The concept of the movie was okay (reminded me of Dora, Where are the magic pearls?) but was produced poorly. Instead, I felt the focused on the effects and fight scenes. They were spectacular just displayed quite weirdly too much Harry Potterish

Spider-Man 2 7/10
It is a very, very corny movie. I think the parts concerning Peter's relationship with Mary Jane has a gooey teen romance air to it, which is shallow and disproportionate with much more mature themes in the overall movie. Doc Ock was cool to watch fight, but he didn't really have the charisma of a true supervillain. Also there was a terribly boring lull in the action when Peter suddenly loses his powers and then through unknown means, suddenly regains them when Doc Ock kidnaps Mary Jane (Mary Jane seems to get kidnapped a lot). Also, Peter sems to take his mask off at every chance he gets, almost as if he wants the entire world to know that he is Spider-Man. Thankfully, it's still a Spider-Man movie. There's a lot of great action sequences. |

the muppets 9/10
i like anythinbg animated and the muppets are both. i love kermet and piggy and gonzo but i really like the bear. i thought that they could have untied jack and that selena and the other one did not need to be in it but they were and they said one line each. i especially like the songs like "man or muppet" and "happy song" or whatever its calle i was singing this song all weekend. toy story 3 6.5/10 like i said i am a sucker for animated movies but i think i still like the origanl toy story better i don't like the fact that andi did not take them to collage with him and that he gave them to a little girl. i did not like that they went to daycare but i did like the escape and that they did not tore limb by limb.

I also saw Rise of the Guardians. Personally I liked Brave a lot more, Jack Frost was predictable Sasuke type until the end of course, again cliche. How ever Santa Claus was interesting his tats. xD I liked the boogieman's nightMARES. xD Overall I give it an 7.5/10. Not worth the freaking $9 a ticket imo.
