As it seems Madara with Obito can both control the Juubi.. then why didnt the SO6P control the Juubi ?

Madara said something about leaving the Juubi only a small amount of its conscious so the Juubi is not fully incontrol, making it easier to manipulate, Where as in the Sage's time, it was complete

That same idea , though, was used by Orochimaru with Hashirama and Tobirama when they fought against Hiruzan...and by doing that their power was pretty gimped! I wonder if that same draw back applies here?

also they don't seem to have the Juubi as a jinkuri like the Sage did though. that was how he controlled it, not as a pet/ beast like Madara and Obito have it now.

I know he was his host and thats how he used it but i dont mean that. I mean Madara has rinnegan, senju dna, Obito also have this things. And they can control it to follow their orders moreover, they are able to control its vessel. And it is also understandable that Madara has long way to go to reach SO6P level even with Obito's help, yet they manage to control the Juubi somehow. So the question is why SO6P the strongest shinobi ever, couldnt control the juubi, nor its vessel.

2 Things possible:

1) SO6P created the vessel (the statue) which makes sense cuz why in the world Juubi would have humanoid "skeletum" which contains its "9 souls".

2) Maybe SO6P couldnt control the Juubi because he was facing it in its full form with the full Hachibi and Kyubi chakra inside it. Maybe thats why the 2 villains can control it and the SO6P couldnt.

maybe he didn't even think about controlling it since it was dangerous he just wanted to seal it away. so talking it in and becoming its jinkuuri might have been his only choice at that time. than using its power to seal it away.

Not really kishi simply didnt know at that time he would created characters with hax abilities such as reality manipulation and flat out nukes (TBBs).

It proably does because the juubi is simply not complete i kinda hope this result in an hunger of the juubi where he ends up devouring hachibi to power up or something and then trys to go for some kyuubi dinner.

Sage had to tame it because it was free at the time, it had no contract or whatsoever.
Madara and Obito had access to Gedou Mazou, which is a sealing shell for Juubi, that's why they could sync with it and control it.

Kurama said it's a mindless creature with no feelings nor ideals. It's just a ''robot'', which is as strong as the one controlling it at the moment.

He controlled it. The Sage sealed the Juubi inside him. He was able to divide the Juubi's mind and chakra just like when Naruto fought Kurama and gained access to Naruto RS mode version 1.

But the Sage knows that He was also a human.. He is getting old and when he dies the Juubi will break free that's why he had to seal the Juubi away on the moon.
