So I commented on a thread and my account took over it... it changed the maker of the thread to me anyone know what happened?

It was a a link spamming bot getting posts up to post links, the mods would of deleted the first post and because you commented first and the first post was deleted, just because it was deleted your post moved to the first, hence making your post the OP instead. It's best to avoid commenting on those threads, just hit the report post button instead, when it eventually posts links.

No..if it happens to be a more newer user doing that, they're likely one of those, they make thread after thread until they get about 4/5 post count to post links on a post.
