OMG yay, thanks for putting my favorite Sakura pairing on here (LeeSaku)! Most people who ask about Sakura pairings use NaruSaku vs SasuSaku and forget/don't count LeeSaku. I know LeeSaku is the least canon and least likely pairing out of these three, but I just love it. I think Lee's total devotion to Sakura is so cute and sweet!

Lee actively protected Sakura with his actions, whereas Sasuke tried to kill her, and Naruto is protecting everyone anyways.
Hinata actively protected Naruto, plus Naruto positively influenced Hinata's character.
Nothing positive of this sort can be said about SasuSaku or NaruSaku.
Moreover, both Sakura and Naruto were actually obsessed with their targets for attention reason, be it popularity or self-esteem.
They attracted attention on THEMSELVES by pushing into "attached" positions.
Neither Lee nor Hinata did so.
OK, Lee shouts all the time, but he also speaks about protection, not popularity. Also, Sakura wasn't so popular, so the benefit of being her boyfriend was pretty questionable.
And Hinata obviously didn't receive any "bonuses" from liking Naruto, cause he was despised by most. She basically pushed herself into being LESS popular, in case she'd openly showed her feelings (in the beginning obviously).

I like the idea of LeeSaku from a fandom point of view. But Lee hasn't made any indication he still likes Sakura in Shippuden. Not as far as I can remember.

And while I dislike NaruSaku, I do have to admit that it has more canon basis than LeeSaku. Naruto has done more for Sakura than Lee has and Sakura has done/thought more to Naruto than she has Lee.
(And as much as I hate NaruSaku and NaruHina, the former peeves me off less)

Funny, but the post-recent-Itachi-revelation Sasuke SEEMS different, calmed dunno.
So, this gives a slight SasuSaku chance, if he comes back and truly apologizes.
I guess, it will end up this way, if you say that Lee got quiet in Shippuden.
(I didn't watch much of it, mostly the recent 10-20 episodes and some special moments.)

If Sakura HAD to end up with someone, it is most likely gunna be Lee. Sasuke's gunna die soon, and Naruto already has Hinata.

And besides, the way Lee fawned over her in Naruto part 1 was sooooo effing cute!!!!

I know you have your hate for a pairing because you love a certain pairing that involved Hinata, but obviously this isn't the case, Lee's feelings has never been shown to that extent.

On topic, any pairing is better than SasuSaku

I just thought of a thing.
Lee and Sakura most probably were good friends (off-screen), so while both might not have as strong feelings towards each other, still their interaction was always positive.
Meaning, they could always start from a clean sheet.
Not so with Sasuke.
Even if he comes back and apologizes, Sakura will still be somewhat haunted by the dark memories of how he nearly killed her.
She could pretend to ignore it, but it would be fake nonetheless.
So, LeeSaku is simply a much healthier relationship than SasuSaku.
Oh, and yes, NaruHina 100%.

No amount of apologising is going to excuse or forgive what Sasuke has done. He actively tried to kill Sakura three times, as well as Naruto, Kakashi and Karin. Even back when he was a decent guy Sasuke NEVER had any romantic interest in Sakura. SasuSaku may still exist on the side of Sakura, but it never existed on Sasuke's side.

And all his hints that he slips here and there.
She's definitely a very close friend to him, and this is a good soil for stronger feelings.

You seem to be trying to make a point in favour to NaruHina and against NaruSaku. "A very close friend" is all Hinata is to him and there's no show of romantic intent on Naruto's side.
