I disagree. School Days was an excellent anime depicting the consequences of being a cheating scum bag. I hated that main character so much, and I was glad that he got what was coming to him. I enjoyed that anime a lot, and it shows the age-old adage of "what goes around, comes around" while also making a lovely statement on cheating and the importance of being honest and true in a relationship. It was great, but is definitely for mature audiences only. It has many mature themes in it, and it may seem innocent at first, but don't let it fool you... this show's got a Higurashi style darkness lurking towards the end. If you are into slice-of-life anime, and also are okay with cheating d-bags who get what's coming to them, then I recommend this anime. Also, if you like super sadness romance anime, then look up Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. It has some retarded English title that is way off and the dub probably sucks anyways. But in any case, that is also an extremely excellent anime that even made me tear up a little. It is so sad, just like School Days.

Now I feel sad, thinking of all these depressing anime. Haha

Just finished this anime, so ima bumping this thread.

My thoughts:
First 3 episodes: 7/10
Rest of it: 3/10
Last 10 minutes: 10/10

The very end of the last episode was epic.

You should play the original game, multiple choices that lead to different beautiful endings. Oh, and lots of H-scenes if that's your cup of tea.

There's 3 games though, School Days, Summer Days, and Cross Days.

On topic, the whole point was to make people hate the characters, which they did a great job of. I found it hilarious, and different from normal harems. The anime ending was quite interesting...

Basically Tomaru Sawagoe, the protagonist and antagonist in the Overflow visual novel franchise, is a multi-billionaire from his inheritance from his father. For about 40 years he seduces every woman that he comes across. He has sex with his daughters and grand daughters and great grand daughters and great great grand daughters and- you get the point. He has a condition where he doesn't age. The other protagonists in the franchise are his sons, including Makoto Itou. That would make makoto sekai's uncle, and about every female in school days related to him. It's just a huge family of messed up incest and relations.

The entire anime was amazing. Even the middle part that sucked was amazing because it built up a more satisfying ending.
