Is scribbling a good version of Japanese writing? The only other thing I can offer is stick figures. ;_;

It's Psycho Pass, a badass and tremendously dark Anime by the creator of Madoka in Cooperation with Akira Amano who also made Reborn.

Shion, the Analyzer of the Enforcers (Hounds of the Police, each one a comfirmed Psychopath).

Gun Hibari is Kogami and another Enforcer.
Formally an Inspector he lost his partner in a cruel manner, dismembered alive, glazed with a special chemical and displayed in public per Hologramm citywide.
Kogami became a Psychopath cause he got obsessed with finding the culprit and thus demoted to Enforcer.
He never lost his detective skills but his psychopathic side shows in EP 1 already as he had no Qualms to fire the Lethal Eliminator on the Criminal he chased (Causing Cellular Destruction thus the target to implode

) and mercilessly attempted to kills the Criminals Victim as she had a Psycho read as well.

Its tremendously dark though the current villain is effing amazing (as in villainous)!
