It's common sense. Lee isn't even top tier in his own verse.

Luffy's casual jet pistols one shot Pacifistas and make hugeass craters in the ground, while Lee would be lucky to make a crater at all.

And that's only right after the Timeskip, they're almost 2 more arcs in

Yes, Lee isn't top tier. But Luffy is not exactly top tier, either. Also, consider how much stronger Rock Lee became after Timeskip. Then if he uses gates, he'd probably become Kage level strong.

Lee has shown almost zero improvement over the time skip. Now.. Luffy on the other hand? I don't think you've even read OP, let alone know what the hell it is. PTS it took Luffy's entire damn crew to take down a single Pacifista. He comes back two years later and casually one shots one. Lee is inferior to luffy in every conceviable way. Strength, speed, durability. Lee can't even keep his top speed without his body tearing itself apart.

Now there's also the fact that Lee can't even HURT Luffy even if he standed completely still. because he uses standard taijutsu which won't hurt luffy one bit. And the fact that Luffy takes much harder hits in own verse.


Lee could possibly be comapred to Bellamy from the Jaya/Skypiea arc, but if you read OP, you'll see that he got fist indented into his skull. But Bellamy is probably much faster than Lee with all that kinetic energy he builds up with his spring.

Lee has shown improvement to fight in his team and has shown speed increase in his base. Also, it didn't took Strawhats sometime before time skip to defeat pacifista. After that, Luffy had to face Boa sisters, Impel Down challenges and fought on Marineford battle. I imagine he became stronger after all those fights. So, his increase after time skip is not as drastic as you pointed out.

Bellamy? After all your arguments, I may say that Luffy wins. But Bellamy? At the very least Rock Lee should be on the level with Rob Lucci.

But Rock Lee might get new feats, so we'll see. But I understand that once One Piece ends, Luffy will be strong enough to casually defeat Rock Lee!!!

Hell no.Can rock lee drill holes in people with just his finger. Can rock lee step on air? Can rock lee produce kicks so hard the mere shockwave is an actual named attack which casually cuts through stone walls. Can rock lee make his body as hard as steel at will?

Until he shows one of these things the only CP9 he can be compared to is spandam.(which actually isnt that bad i mean spandam s*cks but that transforming sword of his is quite good)

And Luffy already can casualy defeat rock lee. Try again when rock lee shows something superior to androids with lazers and steel bodys.

Combatant, I respect your opinion to think that Naruto is a stronger verse then One Piece...but its been proven time and again that One Piece characters are generally much more powerful then Naruto characters, especially side characters like Lee.

When I was judging this fight I didn't base my opinion by comparing how much stronger Naruto verse is than One Piece verse!!!

I completely ignored that and judged each character based on their individual feats and achievements. Thus I merely predicted the result of the fight if we were to assume Rock Lee is 30% faster, and around equal strength in striking, while Luffy has around 100% greater lifting strength. Estimate may have been hastily made, so give or take. Thus, I came to the conclusion.

But reading other people opinions, it is very possible starting assumption was off more than I expected!!!

Although, whoever was proving that thing you mention, it wasn't me, not that I remember, anyway!!!

on what do you base these things? Luffy has been casually busting entire buildings since the arlong arc. So there is no way for them to be equal in striking strenght as lee has never shown that kind of power. Lees pts speedfeats are inferior to even pts G2 luffys. And poor Lee hasnt gained any new speedfeats. While luffy can now casually dodges lasers in base form and has gained precog on top of it.

Even the weakest version of luffy outclasses lee in striking strenght. And G2 >pts lee feats since its first use.

Seriously where do you get these things from because they are 200% wrong. Even if you would look at the weaker version of luffy.

If you would compare individual feats those of luffys easily top those of lee. Even in his pts form.

In that case you should see that Lee is pathetic compares to Luffy. It should be MORE obvious.

Striking: Luffy casually one shotted a Pacifista that took his entire crew to defeat PTS. And Luffy was already splitting layers of the earth with his fists early PTS against crocodile.With his last punch he split the surface of the earth and caused buildings to topple. This isn't his best feat either. Elephant Gun would do much more. Elephant Gatling could tear down an entire town. A casual jet pistol left a huge crater in the ground

Lee barely breaks through Gaara's sand. The best he could do would crack the ground in his immediate area. Crushing boulders, that's about it. Small craters

Speed: Luffy was already capable of blitzing people who could blitz bullet timers back in the middle of part 1. Don't think i need to say more than that. Dude has precog now too.

Lee: Could blitz Gaara, but wasn't fast enough for PTS Kakashi to lose track of him. And Lees base speed is like average Jonin speed.

You have a point about Luffy. But the abilities that Lee has have improved over time skip, as evident when his team fought 30% Kisame. Also, consider that is just his base. Now, you know gates drastically increase both speed and power.

As for speed, the fact that he is slower than Kakashi doesn't mean much. Only if you implied Luffy to be as fast as Kakashi.

Exactly, Lee's speed is like that of an average Jonin. That is incredibly fast. Keep in mind that even before becoming Genin, Shinobi speed is well above that of a peak human.

And then you consider that gates further increase his speed... You get what I mean, don't you?!!

Looks like this isn't a stomp after all since someone is debating for Lee's side I like how my thread is going so far.

Anyway, as for Lee's strength, isn't he able to constantly fight with weights on his legs that are so heavy they left heavy shockwaves when he took them off against Gaara? That should say a lot.

Mega, Luffy was caught in between two large buildings and he pushed them apart from him. Take a piece of gum and smash it between to rocks. Now switch Luffy with the gum and the rocks with large buildings like New York office sized or large hotels. He pushed them apart.

There's also the fact Lee dropped them from a pretty good height.

@UC Lee didn't doANYTHIG against Kisame. He used nunchucks or tonfas and they broke. Then he got caught in a water dome. Nothing else. Kisame isn't even fast in base. I love Lee, but he's honestly pathetic in his verse.

Seriously what is this, I've listed feats of Luffys that not even Top tier naruto characters can do and you compare him to mid tier lee?
