They legalized pot! Oh happy days are here!

Too bad I don't live there and I'm not 21. That and I don't believe in the smoking... of anything...

What do you think of this? Do you think it's good? Bad? Morally comprehensible ? What?

I say yes. Even though it is still a felony. Pot has SOME MAJOR Benefits not as strong as morphine or heroin but stronger than ibuprofen when you need a pain reliever. Not only that, it will bring in major revenue for the state.

If you can get underground non taxed 'good stuff' what makes anyone think they'll choose to pay taxes for it? It needs taken away, I don't agree at all.

How is it any different than moonshine? I mean, it's still produced even though alcohol is legal. Difference is less people are in prison and less crime. It's no different than maurijuana.
People get the taxed goods because some people actually something to lose by buying underground and it's easier access for those are legally able to buy pot. (21 yr & older)

Honestly, I don't know why, but I just hate drugs and the people that do them, minus a few that I closely got to know. Oddly, I don't care about cigarettes and alcohol, and I know those are worse than weed. Maybe it has something to do with the drugees I've encountered. Most of the ones I've found, are annoying teenagers and/or I can't think of the word for it, but people who think they're above the law. No one seems to be afraid of the consequences for talking about doing drugs in public, or they're too dumb to think about them. Kids would straight out talk about doing ecstasy and smoking weed in class while I was in high school, people post about them on Facebook, and I'd hear it being talked about when I'm out and about. It's the main reason I don't do drugs, because I feel like I'll go stupid and start talking about it in public!
But, when adults do it, I don't seem to care a whole lot, unless they have kids, but when I hear a kid or teenager talking about it, it bugs me. Because they're at an integral part in their life when their brain is not yet fully developed and it's trying to. That weed, or any drug is going to affect that development. Now, whether or not the effect of weed will be good or bad, it's still the thought that they're messing with that process. Of course harder drugs are going to have a bad effect, but weed I'm not sure.

Well I think that was enough of a rant xD

Oh, and I hope now that it's legal in washington all of them will move up there and out of Oregon

I'm not doubting your willpower or anything, but when you try a drug you usually get addicted to it, or want more of it. So if you try it, you'll most likely end up doing it too. That's the only reason I haven't tried smoking cigarettes, because I may become addicted to them.

I'm kind of glad it's legalized. Well not glad but leaning more towards like "Ok, that's fine and dandy." I've only smoked pot once and I had a terrible time lol. To each his own though.

If people can smoke cigarretes they should be able to smoke weed and pay just as much in taxes.
