Critically and commercially, One Piece is far superior to Naruto. Now, does that sound better to you?

Honestly even if he was as fast as BM Nruto there is no damn way he is taking on THE WHOLE CREW.

One Piece of Crap is a terrible series-it is very popular in Japan and is by far the best selling manga there, but it doesn't even come close to Naruto in the U.S. and many other countries around the world (Granted O.P.'s anime got taken off the air in the U.S. a long time ago and series like Bleach do really well here, so that's not really a great argument for Naruto's quality either).

@Ultimate: Because Oda doesn't give a sh*t about realism or explaining how character's have their powers, people in the OPverse are on average way stronger than characters from other manga. Did you really think that the main characters of One Piece would lose to Omoi who is just above fodder in the Narutoverse anyway? What possible strategy could Omoi have for winning?

Oda writes a story to entertain people, not to be realistic

On average, they are not really stronger. On average, most are fodder actually, excluding the high tiers. It's just that they have much greater numbers.

And by saying Omoi is just above fodder, you admit he is not fodder.

Now, consider Strawhats are suddenly attacked by surprise by a skilled fighter who knows everything about them and they know nothing of him. On top of that, Luffy, Robin, Chopper and Brook won't be able to do much because they can't swim. The only real danger left is Zoro and Sanji. And even if Franky, Usopp and Nami try to back them up there is still Karui. If it turns out to be a stomp without her, of course!!!

Did you read the last chapter of One Piece? Thats what happens to Omoi. Zoro solos effortlessly. I don't know how the hell Omoi is going to destroy their entire ship either. Please don't say paper bombs.

@Shika I didn't lock it because UC seems to truly believe Omoi actually has some sort of chance. Its not like him to just make a spite thread.

Corporate TV networks in the US can't even respect their own workers. How do you think they'll be able to respect foreign shows then if they can't even treat their own fairly? For instance, the Writers' Guild of America strike in 2009.

Nice use of vague, shallow statements to support your reasoning.

Naruto aired on Adult Swim and CN, channels which have already had a huge following. Not to mention that it was uncensored and thus would appeal more easily to older age groups. One Piece, on the meanwhile, had its' anime importing rights bought by 4kids, who then proceeded to censor down two-thirds of the series. They skipped Chopper's arc. They replaced Sanji's cigarette with a lollipop. They changed Smoker's name, and in some cases, erased him completely from the show. They freaking replaced the Marines' rifles with water guns, and for some reason, removed all of the text within the anime because kids were apparently too stupid to read words on TV or something. Etc etc. And don't you dare even try to argue that 4kids have more viewers than CN does, or that it has any sustaining fanbase beyond children. Granted, Toonami did eventually host One Piece on its' network... for about ten episodes. And then what happened? One Piece fell off, and like most good animes, were reduced to DVD cuts. And Naruto later went to air on Disney XD.

As your your remark to Ultimate, no. Just no. One Piece isn't anywhere near the top tiers of the multiverse in terms of strength or power scaling, and it never will be. Oh, and let's be honest: In terms of realism, or more precisely, scientific accuracy, OP > Naruto. Try to prove me wrong. Just try. Don't worry, I'll try to exploit as little as of your logic loopholes as possible.
