The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Discussion Thread.

Well it seems that the 4 other unrevealed costumes are only of naruto
On the storm 3 site they have naruto samurai costume with four blacked out naruto character arts(all the same) with question marks over them. It could just be to show that there are 4 others without showing there silloutes but at this point with two naruto costumes confirmed its looking like thats not the case

personally i dont mind them all being for naruto if thats the case since i have the war outfits i wanted. might make me actually use naruto on a regular basis i can tell you now ill be using him in the samurai gear.

having it as a bonus is fine as long as they don't skip on things people have been asking for

7 costumes is a bit much for one character him and sasuke get all major updates to start with

these are completely unique costumes as well. yet they have been holding out on doing ones that are all ready made

btw PS360HD2 put up the second part of the Recent Interview and some decent questions were asked but it was hard to hear but what i got from it was:

. He says Generations was in a sense a filler since storm 2 and storm 3 has had the same development time of 2 years and he wanted to give fans some new characters,battle additions etc while they wait for the next instalment

. Someone asked about fillers in the anime affecting the story in storm 3 and he said something about going more faithfully to the manga or some such..maybe we will get more than we expect? Also there's original sub stories that they have added to the game but the main story is faithful to the manga.

. Someone asked about jutsu clashes and he said its not planned, however there are a ton of updates to the battle system which are likely to catch you off guard.

. No co op features

. Someone asked about rage qutting and he said there's some new additions to the online mode to aid that or some such so stay tuned.

. Naruto Storm 3 will be exculsive to the naruto universe so no guest characters.

indeed a bit over board lol, though they haven't given much reason yet to buy the game. still early days we shall see

kl about the other questions

having it more manga based would solve most of the issues i have with the game at the mo. it is currently my most anticipated game so i don't want it to flop

Deffinatly then we could at least compile some sort of list. Right now we have nothing to go off of. I mean the farthest we have seen so far is only up to the swordsmen -_-

I like how they shortened Sasuke's forward combo, yet I can guarantee they didn't and won't do crap to anyone else with long ass combos. -.-

I looked at Storm 1 and Tsunade's combos were fast as hell, but in Storm 2 they made her extra slow -.-

all awakenings are vulnerable to ultimates. small awakenings can be grabbed. ultimates cancel the awakenings if it hits.

Oh my goodness, my Watermelon Naruto costume could be confirmed?! Seems that way with 4 Naruto silhouettes. Washes all my hopes of any other characters getting special costumes down the drain. Personally I would have loved to see Road to Ninja alternate costumes for everyone.

And wow, is it just me or is Matsuyama becoming more and more stubborn with every series of questions he receives?

i find teleporting into an ougi like tsunades to be potentially funny. a bit of risk reward their, which is always fun to take a gamble

i see some issues with this whole ougi on awakening thing:

for instance hinata would become more viable in normal form (against awakening) but less viable when awakened
shes not the easiest character to use to begin with

sasuke kirin ougi would outright beat c2 dragon

awakening is a last line of deffence

if kcm loses awakening after ougi he can instant awaken again any way were as sasuke could not

it benefits people who run away

big awakenings vulnerable to team ougi would die too easily

how is this in any way a bad thing? and spam?...how when you can simply block the ultimate as you normally would or even easier..dodge it. Giant Awakenings are rendered pretty useless after Gens inclusion of them staggering when attacked anyway and now there even more vulnerable. Nobody really uses giant awakenings anyway.

Plus i can garentee there will still be a number of players who wont touch awakening.

while it's good people arn't using awakening; their is no challenge or sense of danger if it's too easy. therefore no skill in beating it, personally i find it fun having to avoid the awakenings moves instead of one hit killing it. making the game harder to me is more fun

the fact big awakenings arn't even viable is an issue in it's own right- at the very least it should be an even fight, making something unusable defeats the point of having it in game and is not a good way to fix things

think about it if even a noob playing for the first time can beat it then something is clearly wrong

i suppose the sub bar is the main reason for them doing this

^They were pretty viable in storm 2, but in generations they flinch when you hit them unlike storm 2 where you could hit them all day and they'd take it like it was nothing.
