ikr? it was obvious it would be a special edition, like with the other three games .l.

whats with all the random special costumes they need to show the other characters some love i almost never use naruto.

really they arn't even from the series and probs won't be in any other game
after all each of these costumes require separate art work as well

i would not be pleased if they take out haku's hunter nin mask

so 5 in total hokage, samurai, goku, ???, ???

Hokage costume is for those who have Generations saved data on their PS3 or Xbox, it as nothing to do with preordering
and Goku DLC I believe is for preorders but it doesn't have to necessarily be the limited edition

That's why I said that I think some costumes will be of other characters, there would be far too many Narutos and Sasukes, maybe Anbu Itachi for Sasuke's version and Anbu Kakashi for Naruto's, it would be cool
Edit: on second thought that would make you have to buy both versions if you want to have both, so it would be cool for both to be available for both versions

i think it's more or less a given that all characters that currently have different costumes would be changed

the issue is more down to older costumes that are more apart of back stories or past events


for instance takas plane robes would take priority over akatsuki robes

will hidan have a non damaged robe

will orochymaru have akatuski cloak

will their be a traditional non edo madara costume

etc

hence my gripe with the special costumes potentially taking focus away from these things, if they do these sort of things as well then by all means have as many special costumes for naruto as they like

Jajaja, sorry, but since Mifune/Hanzo/Darui confirmation and hack and slash, i havent see anything that excites me.

For the moment it seems the old characters will be exactly the same than Storm 2, looking the scans and demos with minato's nearly inalterated moveset, sakura's/Rock lee/Gai/Edo Asuma/Edo Deidara jutsus and moves (i didn't bought Generations for that reason and for story mode). I understand that the characters from Generations, for not being in any storm game (its only a bridge game, not a numbered one) could be the same in storm3 (nevermind, i considerer it lazy for CC2, cause they will show new moves in the anime), but at least they should do changes like they do with Sage Naruto in Generations. About costumes... i dont dislike it, but i find that it should be an extra, nothing else that should be announed that much.

Plus REAL Team Ougis seems not be in the game (in the vid with Darui we can see that are the same ones than in Storm2, and they really have enought combinations that could be easily used, as Double Lariat, the neji/hinata double air wall, etc.). It seems too, that a lot of characters will not be in the game (for example pakura and gari dont seem to be in, as they should appear in the trailer with the other edos).

They show the new support attack, but its just the same than a team ougi without the ougi itself.

Its possible that i'll end buying this game (the story mode seems very well done, and i expect that at least they made shinobi gatana and jinchus) but, for the moment, im severaly disapointed.

I'm actually excited for this news but it didn't get me jumping but what I'm excited for is what the other 4 costumes are gonna be. also there is a high chance that madara is gonna be in the game because when some guy asked Hiroshi Matsuyama at the london comic con he started to laugh and said stay tune on news on scans and stuff like that.

"Matsuyama is going to be in Barcelona, Spain from the 1st November - 4th November and has a big announcement.

And also, at the conference he said that the total number of characters is going to be revealed in the upcoming Shonen Jump"

hmm to be fair akatsuki orochimaru cloak had about 1 minute of screen time and was p@wned in seconds hidans cloak is a minor issue as well and ill be happy if madara is confirmed at all. I do agree other chars need focus on costumes other then naru/sake however. I think those can be held off for dlc or generations 2 if possible just going by the arcs those are past costumes and events same for madara.

fair enough....plus i was teasing you..anyhow we still have a way to go. Maybe things will go more your way and for others like yourself. There are still things I want like chars costumes modes ect...but were getting there slowly...so im content.

Anyhow its no cause of major worry there are serious real life things that are way more important...like health and safety.

sorry everyone off topic on a serious note.. my prayers go out to everyone being affected by hurricane sandy I pray all goes well for them. I have relatives on the coast who are expected to get hit.

was makeing a point as i have seen a few people ask for those, not as bothered personally as some. however they allready have a lot of those costumes pre made on other characters, a single person could probs do it in less than a day the only thing that takes the time is the art work. also for story mode they have to create props and costumes for npcs which takes a lot longer and one off art work like 4 tails naruto so i don't see what the issue is. it's a fighting game it doesn't matter if things have appeard once or twice variety is everything regardless how small. goku doesn't have any thing to do with the series and is in so again the appearing once thing is a non factor.
