Mission: Your mission is to capture enemy intel in a secret base on a snowy planet. [A hologram containing Covenant writing talking about their plans.]

Special: You will be given a prototype armor that will make you invisible for a short amount of time. It takes a little bit to recharge. You will be Drop-Podded to the planet. After your mission, a Saber will pick you up.

I run to the outpost and await for my story of this mission to unfold.

I knock the grunt out so it will be easier to take back. I look to see if the marines got the other grunts. Either way I order them to come back. If they caught em, I have the marines bring them along as well. We head back to camp and wait for the pelican with the hologram device I found in hand.

@joon This outpost was once steaming with UNSC activity mining for precious ores, but now is almost abandoned. The reason for the outpost's downfall is due to more and more frequent Covenant raids. There are still a few marines left. There are also a couple Warthogs and Mongooses for use.

@Clou One marine captured a Grunt. The marines plop down beside you as you all wait for the Pelican.

I stand on top of the mongoose and give a speech.

"I know this does not look good but we can still win this. The conveants won't get away with this. As you fight,think about everyone in you life that you care about. Pick up your weapons with pride as you take down the conveant forces. This is war but we can make it though.
It would be so easy...to let our fate just carry us away...following this same path our whole life through. But we know...We can't. What we do, we do...with no regrets.

I get into the mongoose and get ready for our enemies to arrive.
(Sorry for the sappy crap but i just heard the song and i just felt like it had to come out.)

While we're resting I keep an eye out for any other enemies lurking about.

I order the men to take the unconscious grunts into the Pelican after it lands, and I follow them in.

I make my 2 snipers wait at the base,picking off as much people as they can from a distance. My shotgunners come out and hid behind rocks and wait for enemies to come and killing them,useing the element of surprise. 3 normal soilders get on the warthog and drive out where i am and they begin shooting the ghost. I drive around in my mongoose and shoot at the choopers. The bozooka man stands on top of a high mountain and shoots at the choppers while they are focused on me.
The rest of my 12 normal soilders wait at the base for back up.

Since the Ghost is an edge over the Warthog in mobility it manages to dent up the back of the Warthog. But, the marine controlling the turret on the Warthog destroys the Ghost. It then goes after the other Ghosts. The shotgunners/CQC [Close Quarters Combat. I finally remembered that!] open fire on the Grunts and Elites. They soon get overwhelmed and have to retreat. The snipers duke out some Jackals in a sniping battle, managing to kill a few. The bazooka man takes out a Chopper, but gets injured right as he fires another rocket. The rocket goes spiraling into the air. As you weave around the Chopper, it rams into you sending you to fly out of the Mongoose.

As i am laying on the ground,i tell the rest of the soilders to attack as they bring out our last mongoose.
The other 12 soilders run out,lanching a full assault. I take my rifle and shoot at the engine of the ghost in order to destroy it while limping back to the base.
I also tell my last sniper to shoot at the ghost's rider to prevent mobolization.
The person riding the warthog picks me up and attempts to ram the other ghost into a wall while me the other 2 soilders on the warthog begin to shoot at it.
My bazooka man picks a new location to shoot at the chopper.
My shotgunners stay in their current poisition.

@joon Two soldiers jump on the Mongoose and drive to the battle. The other 9 normal marine fan out and open fire. The Ghost's engine you're shooting at gets destroyed, so the Jackal driving hops out. As the Jackal runs at you, a sniper bullet tears through his neck, sending him flying away from you. The Warthog you're in rams into the Ghost, but an Elite jumps out and kills the driver. The bazooka man scrambles into his new position. The CQC stay in position.

I shoot at the man who killed the driver and the other person that was on the warthog drives it while i then shoot at the ghost's engine. My bazooka man shoots at the chopper. The rest on my soilders continue to shoot at the remaning forces.

As I Jump from a chopper Before I crash Into Enemys Base With my guns Blazing as I cut down 300 Enemys In 12 sec flat! As I join the rest of my team one of my men are shot in the head I drag them to a safe place and have Other Soilders Tend to him as I look at the Sun Riseing in the west I know the war has Just begun!

@joon The Elite goes down, but not before stabbing the passenger [Other guy in the Warthog] in the stomach. The Warthog's machine gun that you're using destroys the Ghost, but the Jackal driving jumps out before getting harmed. The bazooka man fires near the chopper, which sends the Chopper swerving. With the Brutes surrounded they get into a killing frenzy. Left and right the chop down marines. [Brutes have gravity hammers] Your allies do injure both of them though.
