Because of the fillers I don't think it will go beyond the appearance of the real madara, unless they decide to make the game without leading themselves by the anime in order to give the game a proper ending
Because it would be a bit lame for the game to cover half of the war only

I think once the anime catches up to the kage fight cc2 will just start to reveal madara, 4 edo kage, itachi, nagato. Does anyone know when the itachi and nagato fight is going to be

well it's 4 chapters away from 2 suns the last cannon epp we had but the way things are going probs jan-feb

They will probably release free dlc so that we don't get spoiled and so that it goes far enough into the story that we can get enough characters.

I think the episode madara is in will be revealed on feb. 28 then the game probably won't be released til mid march. So i think cc2 will just add content up to edo release because it will be revealed in like a month

^gen covered about one months worth of content ahead of the anime at that point in time so we have a bit of leeway

Yeah, I think this will finish at the Naruto and Sasuke encounter, ending with the explanation of how Itachi gave Naruto the Koto Amatsukami crow and such, I'd like it to finish with the edo tensei release, but it seems like it's never gonna get that far.

you have to ask the mods like ashenreaper to give you the power to do it. As long as you don't have a pic that is inappropriate or shows naruto then they will approve it.

Edit: also chouji has a new character icon and he doesn't have automatic awakening so maybe he has butterfly
