Itachi and Kisame vs Pein and Konan

Restrictions: Not really restrictions, just info; Konan has had prep time for her bomb technique, Kisame has Samehada in his possession, Itachi is perfectly healthy, and if it is not already assumed this is the six paths of Pein, not Nagato using their abilities.
Mindset: In Character

IF the 600 billion paper bombs are included in her prep konan solos.

Samehada = Preta really so pein can steal anything right back from kisame.
Preta also absorb great shark missle water dome and other jutsus from kisame.

With 10M distance i see Itachi getting shinra tensei'd before he could do anything.

He also has multiple targets instead of just one. On top of the fact that pein doesnt have to look at itachis eyes he could just position one pein behind itachi and close them so no genjutsu.

With their top tier techniques i think CT would take care of Itachi susanoo. Although itachi has knowledge on how to stop it i doubt that they could top a TBB.

So Pein/Konan win.

This thread is TOTALLY in favor of them Pain. Konan has prep while others do not. Konon's bomb would take out Kisame. Itachi has not shown the ablitity to use izangi like Danzo.

CT and ALMIGHTY PUSH defeat anything that Itachi and Kisame have.

Pain can abosrb any ninjutsu. The summonings take them to the sky and they can spam attacks in the air

Itachi and Kisame are not winning with these conditions

Plus how would Itachi and Kisame find Nagato?

Not to mention gedo maze would be a handful

The main factor here is Konan. Itachi and Kisame can take out the six paths without a doubt, if Sage Naruto can do it, Itachi and Kisame sure as hell can. Especially with Itachi's analytical skills. Konan with prep can solo almost anyone. Itachi has never used Izanagi but we can assume he knows how to since he can use Izanami. If that's the case, Itachi wins. However, he has not used it in the manga so canonically, Konan SOLOS

We can not assume that Itachi can use Izangmi! We have to go by feats/what we know. It is unlikey that Itachi can use Izangmi when he had the opposite of that jutsu. Plus Izanmgi takes prep and takes a toll on the user. Itachi is not known for his stamina so he would not survive long and unforetunetly Kisame does not have a way to escape

EVEN IF Itachi survived the SEA OF BOMBS how would he surive ALMIGHTY PUSH?

We all know sage naruto had talk no jutsu and plot armor. Plus pain could have easily killed him when he shoved 6 chakra stakes through his back. He even bitchslapped his kyuubi form with CT.

Poor Bazk, I'd like to help you, since you're all alone, but I really don't see Itachi and Kisame winning this. Kisame dies from Paper Ocean, the only way Itachi survives is if he uses Izanagi (which he hasn't demonstrated in the manga, but it's likely he can use it). Paper Ocean would hit Itachi from all angles so Yata can't block it all and even if Susano'o could survive it, there's no way Itachi can maintain it for 10 mins. forcing him to use Izanagi to survive the tech. After that it's a one-eyed Itachi vs. Pain and Konan which means no Susano'o for Itachi and he's gonna get wrecked by ST/animal summons/weaponry from Asura Path, etc.

Itachi and Kisame would have this fight if Konan wasn't given the unfair advantage of a 10 minute, 6 billion paper explosives show. That's not even reasonable. Might as well give Itachi a week to set up an Amaterasu prison and prep Izanami. But that's the problem of including Konan in threads, she's essentially featless and thus her final explosions are the only thing people can use in debates because other than that she's virtually a nonfactor.

If you take away the unfair advantage this really becomes Itachi and Kisame vs Pain. And I know we have all grown accustomed to the whole, they don't make eye contact problem solved, comment for Itachi threads but please understand that Itachi is smart enough to get people into Tsukuyomi if anything he can physically force his opponent to look at him.

I don't take the whole, fight with your eyes down thing as a legitimate strategy unless it's for someone who's proven themselves as a taijutsu master. Remember that Kurenai and Asuma both agreed that fighting by looking at an opponent's feet is extremely difficult and something they thought only Gai would be capable of. Kabuto had Sage Mode and Taka enhancements but even he figured that he'd be better off blinding himself than fighting eyes open and just trying to avoid him looking at the sharingan.

Of course Pain is best suited for fighting without looking at someone because of the linked vision but that can also be his downfall here. If all Pain's share vision that means if one of them gets caught in Tsukuyomi ALL of them do.

Moreover, if Kisame and Itachi just focus on Deva Path the fight is theirs. Once Deva is incapacitated the fight becomes a cakewalk for Kisame. All he has to do is summon his giant wave of sharks and kill the others.

With or without prep they would still lose

Water dome can not handle an expolison that goes on for 10min

The summonings would be an issue for Kisame. How does he destroy them all? Itachi can take most of them out with Amaeterasu but that would take a lot of chakra. And the burning animals can still hit them

And Planteray Devastation over anything they can do

Konan and the paths do not look into Itachi's eyes and they make sure they flow chakra through the team to prevent genjutsu

Like I said, the MAJOR factor here is Konan having prep. This is pretty much in favor of Pain and Konan. It's practically a stomp. Now if you take prep away from Konan, I'd say Itachi and Kisame win.
