Alright, here's another update folks.

On page 14 of the recently released chapter, in the top left corner you will see a Hidden Mist Hunter-nin getting his mask broken.

But just visible under the mask is his headband, and the shape forms Konoha, not the Mist symbol.

Could be a mistake, could be on purpose. Who knows. My ideas are just that, ideas. I'm just suggesting them. Vivi as been pretty accurate so far, so I'm listening to her closely now.

Doesn't look like much of a mistake... he puts emphasis on the mask breaking, and Obito's fit of rage reaches a pinnacle as he seems to have seen something he didn't like to see... It makes sense, he grabs his head, and then you see his hand sprinkle with blood, and the other ninja sense something ominous... and then, they get pwned

Definitely something up with that headband scene.

It makes sense, after all, how could Rin dying alone set off such an explosive event?
Seeing catastrophe being directly related to Konoha could set him off even more, the people he trusted with his own life, becoming his worst enemy would be enough to set anyone off the deep end.

Like I said, Rins probably some sort of Jinchuuriki (hence the bubbles and animal roars and cries).

Obviously not a mistake. Maybe Danzo was involved.

It could be a mistake. Kishi could've accidentally drawn the wrong symbol...they've done that in the anime. But it may be foreshadowing, who knows *shrugs*

Anybody think that maybe the Leaf was trying to make an alliance with the Mist and handing over Rin as a Jinchuuriki was part of the deal?

Kishi is not anime, and you can barely see the symbol. It is intentionally hidden for a reason.

It's possible for her to be from the mist though. She was probably living there n before she started the school she moved and lived in konoha... In theory those sorta had to be Leaf Ninja right? I mean Tobi eventually became Mizukage, and I don't think destroying their Anbu squads would adhere to the standards they are looking for in a Mizukage. Though I could be mistaken.

I'm gonna go with Danzo was working with Madara/Tobi the entire time, thus how Madara was able to get all that Senju shtuff, why Itachi conversed with both Tobi and Danzo during the Uchiha Massacre, and perhaps Danzo is even directly related to Obito? I dunno. Still makes no sense as to why Danzo would have Kakashi kill Rin, or if thats wrong, as to why Danzo would want Rin so bad.

@wish ^ I saw the mask n I believe it is part of the headband of the leaf so we know that there are leaf black ops disguised as mist after rin... Why? Because it has to do with something that Danzo wants to do with her. She has special chakra/kekkai or she's a host that was wanted... My guess was Danzo wanted her body for a reason... To deduct an experiment... Remember this is around the time orochimaru was still in the village so it may also conduct facts that are apart his madness of Justus....

... How are you guys getting the idea that was a Konoha symbol on that headband? Barely anything was visible, just the leading edge of it. It could just as easily be the corner of the mist symbol.

Despite how this scenario is playing out it still feels totally wrong...

I just can't tell if this is because it is an elaborate hoax being played on Obito or if the odd quirks are a simple byproduct of Kishi hastily trying to fill in several random plotholes with a single flashback...

As for the theory of Rin being a mist spy, wasn't that already Kabuto's gimmick during his childhood flashback? The young medical ninja who infiltrates other villages, gains everyones trust by patching up their wounds, and then selling them out without them realizing any of it... the only difference between spy-Rin and Kabuto is that since Rin is female she isn't allowed to be good at her job.
