I think he also uses it because while he's fighting the others ninjas won't see his expressions and emotions. Maybe that's why he can take the mask for eating in front of the other people, etc. :)

It has to do with his resemblance with his father, but I think there's something secret left to discover about him...like a sealing jutsu similiar to Tsunade's forehead, or Danzo when he died, or when Deidara exploded. There could also be an embarrassing scar hiding underneath and doesn't want to show it like Ibiki or something inappropriate written on his face because he reads to much of the Make-Out novels; or a code he doesn't want anyone to see and won't use until the right time. We usually see all of their techniques and secrets once they die or are endangered in fights.

No i think the mask is always wears by the great warriors and also it is a sign of bravery.

I don't think it's just to be different from the white fang because kakashi is already a legeand as the copy cat ninja and all of the ninja tend to know about him. The main reason is probably the whole poker face thing. Bet they won't show us till the very end of everything.

Don't know. Hell, it might just be a style thing for all we know. Most of the Shinobi have some little difference in their armour. Some have long sleeves, some wear black instead of blue, some don't even wear the standard armour, etc.

All I know is, if he takes it off, someone's gonna die.

Actually, I don't think so. In the shot that it shows him with his dad dead on the floor, it looks like he's wearing a mask.

Though it does not seem to be an issue in the manga, what Kakashi's face looks in its entirety has been a point of interest for his students as they made various attempts in omake specials to see him without the mask. Episode 101 is devoted to Team 7 trying to remove their sensei's mask, and suggests that he is in fact very handsome, as seen from Teuchi and Ayemi's reaction to seeing his face. In the few instances that Kakashi is seen without his mask, it has been seen that he has a narrow jaw-line; in these instances the parts of his face normally covered by his mask are obstructed from view.

I believe it is because it is part of his normal outfit and he has nothing else to wear so Naruto could've looked like kakashi just like how Rock Lee looks like Gai.

Forgot where, but there was an interview with him. Kakashi said the material is pretty easy to breathe thru. Think I remember reading that it would keep him warm as well.
