If you look at the Juubi carefully, he does have big ears, who knew that the ultimate beast would be a freaking rabbit?!

on chapter 594 is shown juubi's silhouette but its different from what we saw on other pictures. Thats strange hm..

On the internet it's said that Juubi refers to some creature living inside a mountain having one leg which forges metal thus creating things (this refers to Juubi's talent to be the progenitor, the creator.)
WOOOW let me edit: I just realised that we've seen the actual reference. As I said it's supposed to live in a mounting creating things. At some point when Madara was living Juubi's vessel - the Gedo Mazo was inside a cave inside probably in some earth formation and Madara was using it (the Mazo) to create his minions - Zetsus. Off topic: To sum up according to our hypothesises: A Rabbit with 10 tails, one eye (a mix of sharingan and rinnegan), one leg, his lair is inside Tsukuba mountain, forging metal thus creating things. And overall it has strange body.

Now that I think about, Reisen had the power to create powerful illusions with her eyes and endangered the entire world alongside Tewi and Kaguya freezing time and creating an illusion on the entire world by using the moon......
