Yes and no, you need something to create something. Like alchemy you just can not make gold, but if you obtain something you can.

But what gets me is how you just can not have atoms (ect) floating around in nothingness, have then clash and BOOM EVERYTHING. Doesn't work that way.

Yes, I believe in Him. I'm not going on a religious rant here, because I really don't know enough about it all to do so, but I do believe He exists. People say that because they can't see, hear, or touch Him, then He doesn't exist. Well, I say that's where the part about "faith" comes in .

Well if God is God, He can do anything, including create something out of nothing, right? But He didn't create the world the way it is now. He created the world without death or evil and made 2 peeps called Adam and Eve. He gave them control over everything on Earth and gave them a home in the Garden of Eden. He told them they could eat any fruit except the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It was the only rule He gave them and even blatantly warned them that if they ate it they would surely die. The serpent came to them and persuaded them that they wouldn't die, God was only worried they'd become like Him, knowing both good and evil. They ate it, and as a result sin and death became a part of the world.
It was our fault, not God's. But it still raises questions (I asked a lotta these questions before I would even consider believing in God). If God's all-knowing, why didn't He stop it? Well, God being awesome and all, He values free will and wanted to give us a choice rather than being mindless puppets. He wants to love us, not being surrounded with playthings He can order around or torture when He wants to; God is love. Trying to blame God for humanity's choice is like trying to blame a parent who warns their child of something, but they do it anyway and get in trouble. The parent could have kept a tight leash, but then if the kid never had the choice between right and wrong, even if one choice is... well, wrong... would it be the kid's choice at all?
Well, it doesn't seem fair that A&E's choice affected the rest of us, right? Well I'm not happy about this one either, but God clearly reveals the consequence: death. And death is not something to take lightly. Also, we all screw up at some point, so we all know that our mistakes can extend and hurt other people, not just ourselves.
But why does God allow all this evil to go on? Well, we all know there are different "levels" of evil (the shooting in Connecticut reminds us of that), but all in all we still do evil things. Even a "white lie" is dishonest, and therefore not right. God is just, so if He were to get rid of it, He would have to get rid of ALL of it. Meaning everyone would be destroyed. But God isn't like that. He wants to save us all, so He is postponing the end of the world until everyone that will choose to love Him does. He doesn't want stuck-up people in suits and ties telling everyone why they're going to Hell and sticking the Bible up their butts. Those people are His enemies, even though they claim they act in God's name. No, He doesn't have any requirements beforehand: He just loves us and wants us to love Him too and to give us the opportunity to counter the evil in the world.
This isn't a question, but to save us from sin's curse God sent Jesus to live a sinless life, die for our sins, and be raised to life again. Giving his life for us showed the ultimate love for us and freed us from the curse by sacrificing to death someone who didn't earn its punishment. Being brought back to life signified victory over death. And now for those who accept Jesus are "washed" by his sacrifice, "covering" us with Jesus' fulfillment so that we can live forever with him once we die. We also receive the Holy Spirit, who lives in us and guides us and comforts us in our tough times so that we may overcome our battles and make a difference in the world. The only thing we need to do is to announce Jesus as our Lord and Savior. But it's our choice because, again, God values free will and each unique individual, even if the choice is between Heaven or Hell.

I do believe in God. If he didnt exist, how did we get here? But I have to admit, Im not a Christian. Some people's views about God differ, but I think everyone must believe in a higher power. I personally believe in the Christian view of God, but if you ever meet him in person one day, who knows what he will be like?
