It's hardly a mech anime. It's nothing like any mech anime I've ever seen. It's more akin to TTGL than anything. And that's still a stretch.

TTGL was totally different. Far greater than any mech anime that I've tried to watch before it. The only other thing even remotely close to a mech anime that I've watched is Code Geass, but that went beyond the robots.

Eureka 7 goes far beyond the robots. Far, FAR, beyond the robots. Like, seriously. LFO's become like, plastic toy fireworks later on and are fodderized by everything.

I'd say it's very similar to code geass in that mechs are present, but not really a key plot point.

Very true. But I think that about tops it all off. TTGL, Evangelion, and partially Code Geass. There might be more, but I can't remember. All I know is that it's not a type that I'm often impressed by.

Well I have a lot of anime interests, but I'm currently watching Yu Yu Hakusho (spelled right?) and keeping up with Shippuden and Fairy Tail. Sad that Bleach was cancelled before they were able to do the final manga arc. Just why? I'm also waiting for the final 14 episodes of Persona 4: The Animation to release in English dub. Oh yeah, and waiting for the latest Naruto movie and the Fairy Tail movie.

Currently re-watching Umineko.
Then again it doesn't provide as much info or evidence as the manga or novel but at least the proper parts are the same and add up to my solution of who Beatrice really is.

Soul Eater's awesome! Watch out for the manga, though. I loved the anime, so I opened up the manga when I found it in Books-A-Million... and what did I find? Pretty much hentai, that's what -_- But if you want other good anime, there's Gurren Lagann (despite overbearing fanservice), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Kekkaishi.

(If you've already seen them or they just don't interest you, let me know if you want. I have more I can suggest.)

It says more than enough that people need about 10-15 hours of video material to show their solution/theory of who is the killer.
