I think that NaruSaku would be a disappointment in the series. It might be sweet in Naruto's case, but the pairing is trite, and very bland in my opinion.
But then again, I don't think that Kishi writes this for the shippers

That part was selfish and a -1 for SasuSaku.
Acutally that is a +2 for SasuSaku thus a -2 for NaruSaku! She tried and FAILED to kill Saskue. She could not bring herself to kill her beloved Saskue (+1)!! Also Sakura wanted to help and save Saskue by killiing him! SHe wanted to make sure that he does not do any more evil/damage! This goes against Naruto's wishes. Sakura did not believe that Naruto could save Saskue. Naruto would not become hokage if Sakura killed saskue because Naruto thinks that a hokage should be able to save at least one friend!

That part was not. She knew killing Sasuke would get Naruto to hate but she was going to do it anyway why?
Because she also knew that Sasuke caused Naruto more pain that anyone. And she wanted to take that burden off of his shoulders. Sure she went about it horribly, but her heart was in the right place.
For the record, Naruto hating her would NOT make her happy. But as long as he wasn't suffering anymore she would deal with it.
As I said that was one of the many reasons why she TRIED to kill Saskue! The bottom line is that Sakura FAILED (as usual) and could not kill Saskue. Sakura did not care about Naruto enough to finish the job. She still loves Saskue and as you said " Went about it horribly". Sakura was one of the smartest in her class she could have thought of a better plan or AT LEAST told Naruto the truth. Even if Sakura did kill Saskue it would not have solved anything. Naruto would have failed at trying to bring Saskue back home!



Key word in this is sometimes. Naruto and Sakura cannot fall in that group anyway because Naruto loves Sakura and Sakura knows it but they can still be comfortable with one another and that scews up the whole awkward thing.
Yet Sakura has not returned the feelings for Naruto and her feelings are not as intense as they are for Saskue! Plus as Sakura says she wants to be with him with everybody and not just have her alone. This is more public and more friendly.

Naruto knows (I repeat). He thought Sasuke would make Sakura happy because that's how it was when they were kids. He's been completely blind to the fact that Sasuke has caused Sakura more pain than ever and has been doing so longer than he has made her happy.

Prove that Saskue will not make Sakura happy! Sakura lied to him saying he did not care for him during the confession and even in Part 1 she cried over him and pleaded for him to stay in the village! For NaruSaku- Sakura chooses Naruto while both Naruto and Sasuke are alive. There are two ways I think.

1) She pulls a Karin and denounces Sasuke. Quite likely through the use of flashbacks, if she compares all the good Naruto has done and how happy he makes her, how she can be herself in front of him instead of who she believes he wants her to be, and how comfortable she is in general around him, etc, to how miserable Sasuke makes her I think she can realize that her heart never truly belonged to Sasuke and she was just hanging onto an old crush that never went anywhere anyway.

2) Sasuke is redeems and finally offers Sakura some lovin' but she declines. Because she wants Naruto.

For NaruHina: Naruto chooses Hinata over Sakura. I can only see one way(but that may be because I'm not a fan sorry).

1) Sakura finally offers Naruto that date. But he says maybe another time becuase right now he is more interested in someone else . *glances at and smiles at Hinata who blushes*. Sakura looks a little sad but understands.

EDIT just thought of another....and then I realized it wouldn't fit Hinata's character/contradict what she said in 573 so nevermind.

So I certainly think it's possible for any pairing to happen without anyone looking like a 'second place trophy'. Love triangles like that have been done since Shakespearean times so it isn't impossible to pull it off successfully.

The Naruto fandom just happens to have a few nimrods that's all lol.

I LOVE THIS IDEA but... like I said before this is still a lot to be implied without giving evidence to back this up. We can not really say what will happen in the end

They don't have to be romantic lovers. Hell for all we know Naruto and Sakura could have done something off panel they have spent many nights on quest together.

-Hinata loves Naruto

All of this could change, obviously, and Kishi could very well completely flip it all around. There's still time, although I'm very doubtful any of us will be happy with the romantic outcomes in the end.

We can't distinguish between love and a crush, as there isn't a difference in manga for some reason. Have you guys noticed that? If it seems like a character has only a slight interest in someone, it's automatically full-on love anyway. I think that's what makes it difficult to figure our characters in question out. Does Naruto love or just like Sakura? Does Sakura love or like Naruto (or nothing at all, which could be a possibility, of course). It would help tremendously if Kishi were to clarify, however he just loves to torture us girls, and since it's a Shonen manga and not Romance, it's not even necessary.

Ehh its kinda necessary, that way in the begging when they made the squads it would provde conflict and other friction between the teams too see if they can still cooperate together but I can't see how Sakura or anyone could "love" someone who doesn't give a crap about anyone.
