Kabuto is just a victim like the rest of us. Sometimes, a victim of abuse (mainly sexual) or one who helps the predator perform his acts tries to become them in order to help them live on because of their lack of identity. But Kabuto actually can ressurrect Oro. So, that is another theory answer to this question

And Orochimaru wouldn't go for Infinite Tsukuyomi, he would go for Tobi's/Nagato's (second eye is still there)/Madara's Rinnengan. I mean, Rinnengan's abilities might give Orochimaru real immortality.

And I don't think that he would go as the third side of war. He would probably side against Madara/Tobi - He would be trapped in infinite tsukuyomi as everybody else.

well it seems like Orchimaru can trick Sasuke pretty easy it seems. since he's relying on Orichimaru to give him info.

Orichimaru needs someone who can do Tsukoyomi to do Infinite Tsukoyomi and Sasukie fits the bill. Orichimaru has always been after what makes him more powerful and Infinite Tsukoyomi would be the ultimate power. he could rule the world with it and i'd think become immortal.

Also to whoever said Kabuto could've revived Orichimaru, i thought it required Sasuke's curse mark?

i don't know i just think theres going to be some twist soon with Orichimaru.

ok, first of all, from when Orochimaru wants Tsukuyomi? didn't he wanted sharingan to being able to copy every jutsu? Tsukuyomi would be cool but veeery risky. and he is too weak for this now.

oro saw what sasuke is capable of. beside genjutsu, he has now susanoo and amaterasu. he knows he doesnt stand a chance now.

aaand it required any curse mark (sasuke revived oro from anko curse mark)
