ARGH DAMMIT KANYE, R. KELLY? REALLY? SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS.

You could have easily gotten Frank Ocean, Mr. Hudson, Teyana, or Cudi on the hook. But no, you HAD to do R. Kelly

And why the hell are Cold and I Don't Like even on the album?

For those wanting a sneak-peak listen, snippets are up on iTunes, but not as under "Cruel Summer".

Try the working title, a la "Kanye West Presents GOOD Music"

Kanye has failed me. So many outside features, useless. There is no freaking Hudson in this! Chief Keef ending the album!? Is this life right now!??!

Also:

Cudi is not technically signed to GOOD Music. Kanye would have to pay more to get a Cudi feature compare to Kanye getting a Big Sean

I Don't Like RMX wasn't even a good song to begin with. Shouldn't anywhere be near this album.

We're also missing Q-Tip and Mos Def. Bastards teased us with the Mercy video and film premiere by having nearly everyone show up, and now most of GOOD don't even have more than one feature in the entire compilation album. It's just going to be an album with mostly Kanye, Pusha T, 2Chainz, Big Sean, and Hit-Boy's beats.

Hudson - Zero features.
CyHi - One feature.
2Chainz - Three features.
Common - 20sec feature, LMAO.

Neither is 2Chainz or Common, but I don't see them charging Ye a hundred grand or something for one guest verse feature. Besides, Kanye and Cudi are fam.

Album is a 6/10 at best. Not enough GOOD. To The World is pretty much an R Kelly song. Sin City is to damn dope though. I love Creepers and bliss also. WTT is way better than this though

That seems to be the case though. Cruel Summer is already released on iTunes in some countries, such as New Zealand. The one plausible scenario that we can hope for would be a Deluxe edition.

According to DefJam, Ye has just finished remastering Cruel Summer. Guess he's finally caring, considering how poorly the album was received by both critics and fans alike.

That's it, this is highkey disappointment of the year. Everything about this album, with the sole exception of New God Flow and Clique, were so horribly handled.

Vat, you like it now? I think its garbage. Best track on there for me is sin city a.nd idk who it is that's even rapping. All the songs on here have already been released or suck or both. How do you end an album with I don't like? It doesn't make sense.

It was a decent album. Even somewhat, kinda, almost good.

As for Sin City, are you referring to the spoken verse? That's Malik Yusef.

The first half of the album was awesome .. the second half, kind of a disjointed disappointment.

Well, what matters most is perception/expectations.

Don't hold Cruel Summer to a Kanye standard, but instead just with the standards that you would give to any rap compilations.

From that perspective, the album is decent. Hell, it can even be argued as, dare I say it, .. good.

If this was a YMCMB release, then it would already be considered a modern classic. Like I said, perceptions/expectations.

Non-Weighted Score: 6.8/10 - 7.2/10.
GOOD Music-Weighted Score: 5.2/10 - 4.8/10.

YMCMB-Weighted Score: LOL THIS DA AMAZIN'.YMCMB FOREVER.

EDIT: And I'll be honest. The album grows on you. A lot.

Lol, nobody still likes young money. And I just don't like a lot of the people on good music to appreciate this album enough. But cruel winter is on the way.
