Tanking in MMO context means toughness, damage resistance, and damage mitigation in the form of blocking, dodging, and parrying. As in being able to TAKE a hit or otherwise deflect a hit.

Regeneration is what Orochimaru has. It isn't tanking, its survivability. He got cut in half and regenerated. It was reactive to the damage he took. Tanking means enduring damage and pressing on.

Tsunade is a tank. Orochimaru is more like a WoW Warlock with multiple Soulstones.

Orochimaru is just tough, he has various ways of surviving and escaping, while Tsunade takes damage like a baws! She's like a protection warrior in WOW, while Orochimaru is a rogue with high agility.

ahhh when she summoned katsuyu katsuyu asked if she wanted her to put her body back together and tsunade said no later for that I can still save the other kage if you bring them to me I don't think she's gonna die maybe need a chakra transfusion to recover but die ahhh don't see it

I think she is because Kishimoto has a fetish for killing women in gruesome ways. Kushina, Konan, now Tsunade probably...

I won't have a problem with her not dying because I don't think Madara deserves to get any points at all since he's already hax beyond respect.

But, I feel like if she dies that would give a strange motivation to Orochimaru and definitely piss off everyone in Konoha for a second wind in combat.

Gaara doesn't have the ultimate defense, Sasuke stated himself that the Susano'o is better.

He didn't even have EMS yet.

Jussayin', not like that's proof or anything, but it still is cool to know.

But as for Tsunade... her chakra seal is what keeps her alive... she is a tank, but not as beastly as you would like to believe.

^Tsunade and Orochimaru are "Healer-Tanks". Mainly healers though.

Sasuno'o is better with EMS. With MS, you just go blind and numb, while Gaara flies on his sand waiting for you to run out of your chakra.

re-reading old chapters, it the part that naruto 1st used the rasengan against kabuto, i notice that in the fight tsunade took kusangai throught the chest and had her throat slit AND sliced in her back, she really is a tank
