Default Why Maddy's Magic Fan stopped a Bijuu Bomb
The fan is made of Senju wood. How? God knows, but from what we've seen with Yamato, Mokuton wood is the kryptonite to bijuu moves. THat may also explain why Tobi's mask didn't kersplode when they first headbutted.

I don't know about all that. I still think Naruto pulled his punch. That wasn't a bijuu move Naruto planted in Obito's face, but a normal rasengan, if I recall. The bijuu bomb was just a distraction.

Yeah, we still don't know what the Bijuu fist-bump was all about. However, Naruto obviously does, and I think Obito is starting to suspect something isn't quite right with Naruto.

And also since Naruto is still in the other dimension, I think that'll come back to bite Obito.

Madara on the other hand, someone has to seal him. No way to beat him otherwise, Perfect Susanoo can probably duel with Juubi considering he'll never run out of chakra. Its at least on par with Kyuubi. And as Kyuubi said, since there is only a part of eight and nine tail chakra in the version Obito is summoning "they'll never know if they don't try."

Madara is a huge problem.

That's why the jutsu is called: Uchiha Gaeshi ( Returning Uchiha/Returnin Fan
I don't think it's made of Senju wood, Madara had it while fighting Hashirama, and back then, he didn't have Senju cells)

It's just a counter technique, no need to overthink this. It reminded me of Inuyasha's backlash wave, I've been wondering this entire series if someone was going to perform a technique like this and here it is.

This. I don't think it would've mattered anyhow, since Madara is a broken character. What were they going to do if the bijuu bomb actually hit? Oh, right: wait until he reformed a few seconds later and dropped a freakin' asteroid on their heads. Nobody with a proper seal has the chakra right now.
