Fullbring arc did that, yeah. But this is the final arc. I don't know why they had to include such a crappy arc just to do this though. If it was ending, I would have just ended it after Aizen. But I'm glad I get to see Yamamoto's bankai nonetheless.

After watching stiens;gate, I would have to disagree. It's all based on the story and how it's executed.

It's just unfortunate that after 5 years of following bleach, not a single person has kicked the bucket.

It has more deaths than Bleach, it seems. And I was never a huge fan of FMA.

I'm merely using it as an example of how an action series can keep deaths to a minimum and still end up bitter sweet or even happy. The problem with bleach again, is the espada arc started off so well. Yet in the end, it was the bad guys who died and good guys who left without a scratch in the long run.
