Anyone want to have a serious debate with me on this topic? (I am pro-suicide)

I think if a person can't see any value in continuing their own existence then they should have the right to end that existence.

This is a matter of opinion really,but I don't like suicide. There's always tomorrow and that day could be infinitely better or infinitely worse,but to succumb to your misery before the next day came is a coward's way out.

Why is it a cowards way out? Why isn't it just a way out?

If a person doesn't feel like there is anything worth living for, why should they be forced to continue living?

You can't force someone to live because ultimately it's their choice to keep on trucking.

Someone who runs away from their problems. Suicide is not just running away, it's the equivalent to taking a spaceship to mars.

Are you looking for opinions or are you referring to things such as assisted suicide?

I guess you could define it that way, but the version i use is: a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition or pain.

I don't think suicide is running away, I think it is stopping or ceasing to exist.

Assisted suicide or regular suicide, I'm for any kind of suicide as long as only the one person who wants to die is the one dying. (so not suicide bombers or cult suicides, rtc)

Well you have to remember the reasons behind why some people do it. Sometimes it's just out of emotion and not thinking. And some people really don't want to end their lives but think that there's no other way out of the pain. I mean I get if people think their life has been fulfilled and all that (some cultures do that) but a majority of the time it's because they want help but don't think they'll ever get it. That's just my input on the subject matter

You have to help yourself before others can help you. As in, if you want help but aren't taking any steps to get help then how does anyone know that you want help?

Well it's easier said than done. Sometime people have no one to go to or they're afraid of people judging them (mostly due to past experiences) or sometimes the reason they want to die is caused by abuse from the family and they won't eat them out in fear that they will have nowhere to go.

I don't exactly believe it automatically makes you a coward. There could be different reasons for a suicide, not specifically because that person is having a horrible life. It could be due to them having a mental disorder. We can't really judge anyone for ending their own life.

Well in the case of the US, you really can't use the excuse "I have nowhere to go or no one to talk to" There are thousands of hotlines, call centers, treatment centers, and support groups where people can get help.
