Alright now this whole Rin Obito thing has slightly boosted my impatience for this horrible manga but if Sasuke ends up with Sakura, this will be the worst manga I've ever read. Part 1 was excellent but it seems as if Kishi is doing LSD when he writes these pages for part 2. I would say the downfall for this manga was right around when Naruto tnj'd Pain or when Sasuke went crazy on Konoha after battling Itachi.

So, basically if Obito gets tnj'd or Sasuke ends up with Sakura, this manga will go down in shame...I don't want Naruto running back to Sakura either. It seems the only good couple out of the teens is freaking ShikaTema

People really do seem to think that Rin was the only reason he started this war.

Obito did state that Kakashi let rin die...but Kakashi's question was not why he started the war but he said.

"If you were alive..why up until now..." That was kakashi's sentence implying that why hasn't he shown himself till now.... And thats when obito replied because he let Rin die.

And i checked it in several mangas. To many people take things out of context. We don't know why Obito started the war...since naruto intervened and said that this is not the time to talk. So the reason behind the war is still unsolved.

Also if anybody is going to give up on the manga....just do it. Its not that hard to quit reading something. But why...is it so hard not to post your gonna quit here on the forums. Jeez must really hurt to be dissapointed in something you read. I am a big fan. And despite the latest chapters i remain a big fan since....if Kishi is such a bad writter...the Naruto serious wouldn't be so popular...would it. So yah...

Stop with the negativity.....if you don't have anything constructive critics or good things to say....then don't say anything at all.

I dont care i kinda had the idea it was obito my other idea was that it was a clone created from madara cells. but i will be mad if kishi kills off obito and madara in some stupid way and right now i dont see a way for the shinobi to win cuz no ones strong enough to beat the two of them not even naruto so im just waiting to see where kishi goes with this otherwise from that naruto is one of the best manga, anime, fiction stories ever.

The one that zero and I read, along with most of the posters here, had Obito blaming Kakashi for Rin's death, which is fundamentally why he had started this entire war.

That's not right. There are two parts to the conversation.

Kakashi: If you were alive, how come until now...
Obito: (skip a couple lines) It's because you let Rin die.

kakashi references why Tobi was in hiding until now. Not why he is starting a war. The key part is "until now"

Kakashi: Aren't you going to blame me?
Obito: It's pointless to blame this useless reality.

So the cause of the war has not been stated to be specifically about Rin. Without Rin, Obito felt there was absolutely nothing for him to gain by going back. That part is at least definite... If Obito was specifically mad at kakashi, enough to start a war, and knowing how powerful his one eye is, he'd try to get the other one back.

yet! Obito uses talk-no-jutsu. He gets into everyone's head. Just like Naruto. So we can't trust anything he says. Claiming to be Madara, giving rinnegans to Nagato (mentioned to konan), acting surprised by Minato's speed. Lying and saying he hadn't lost in a long time. that way he can still seem dangerous and keep his rep despite the loss. This causes Minato to think Naruto would need help defeating him. Ordered Sasuke into a mission, "or we fight here," which got Sasuke to attack him, only to phase through, instantly showing that Tobi had higher status, without lifting a finger. The implication being he could kick Sasuke's @ss. Lying at the summit. Now he's got Kakashi sweating.

Seems legit, follows the same life, and then with one little scar in his emotions, he turns completely evil and becomes main villain.
Naruto said multiple times that without his friends, he would have become just like Sasuke, which, in a way is just like Tobi.

Well, either Kishi explains his plot-holes and the motives of Tobi making a war out of nothing (Rin's death is pointless) or Naruto will have a drastic change and will result to total failure.

i support by talking about it and word of mouth. they should be lucky i registered for a naruto forum, i don't do that with most other anime's i watch(illegally). anyways i'm sure Kishi has made enough money from Japan alone with NAruto.

I didn't read the entire thread, but i did read the OP and I just want to say to all the people who are just going to stop reading Naruto because they don't want o admit that Tobi is Obito.............dude just suck it up that you were wrong, it not that freaking bad.

now am I going to say that I've never not wanted to read Naruto again before, no because when I thought they had killed Gaara both times I didn't want to read the manga anymore, but never because I turned out to be wrong about something in the manga, you should just see it as an interesting turn of events and see what happens next.

And think about would it have really mattered if Tobi turned out to be anyone other than Obito, I mean Izuna would have been alright, but making Obito have much larger affect on the story. I mean Kakashi's going to all messed up in the head over it, people are going to wonder how the Naruto of kakashi's generation went from being the lovable Uchiha to an evil mastermind, I mean you have to admit that Tobi being Obito has a lot of up sides to it.

Now I will admit that I didn't want Tobi to be Obito either, but that's only because I saw Obito as a good guy and a Hero and I didn't want him to turnout evil. Now I always suspected that he was Tobi, but I just didn't want to be true. However, since he is I'll just have to deal with it.

There is nothing bad about being "wrong". Bad thing about Tobi being Obito is that this identity sucks . No matter how good he will explain this, as someone said: Obito became just next, mad Uchiha. Good Uchiha is dead Uchiha.

But I laugh from people who said that there are too many plotholes about Obito being Tobi. No, it was the easiest to explain. Beggining with that we saw his right eye, to his childish attitude. And it was the most boring one.

I'm still hoping that there is more in it, but sadly new chapters are not interesting enough. I will still read however, because I hope that there might be still something interesting: like Orochimaru return.
