Ultimate decision, depending on the choices you make, it will alter your story mode's path.

Bloody hell this keeps getting better,i believe many people who don't know about Naruto will buy this game just for the excellent story mode,if it delivers as much as promises now with this Ultimate decision thing this could be truly great.

I bet in 2014 they'll make Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations 2 (Storm 3 with extra story and characters) or they'll finally make DLC for Storm 3 hopefully

decision or not the story has to funnel down to the same events sooner or later so i'm curious as to how thats going to be down without having a misleading story

Why wouldn't they do that. I mean what happens if there was somebody who knows about Naruto, but didn't see the beginning of how it all happened.

because it would take up all their dev time lol. the stuff from summit to some point in the war is more then you may think

yeah unfortunatly the clash is probably just a cutscene since i doubt they would add that water effect from normal clashes in vs mode.

its confirmed to continue from storm 2 not the start of shippuden.

Who cares if it takes their time. They did it with Storm 2 and Generations.

They are doing for us fans because we love Naruto so much. These guys work really quick.

That clash is only in the cutscene Naruto vs Sasuke at Samurai bridge, whick mean it will be a Boss, and probably danzou boss, which happened before that team 7 reunion ^^

looks like a great way to mix up story mode but from the looks of it, it seems to be a choice for a flashback battle or a more current one i dont think it will change the whole outcome of the story just make certain bits and pieces different is all..the symbols that are shown is probably a difficulty rating.

if there going to add actual jutsu clashes for VS in this one we will see it in the TGS Trailer i imagine. but i doubt they will do this.

the naruto vs sasuke is just like the masked man vs minato boss battle like just before u beat the opponent you press triangle and x to run up to the opponent and it triggers some sort of clash or for minato he threw the kunai and did a rasengan and for sasuke and naruto they clash btw great scan can't wait till the new trailer

No, I doubt we'll have a second Naruto vs Sasuke boss battle. It would be too much. It's just a cutscene from Story Mode, like Deidara removing his cloak and self-detonating in Storm 2. Looks like a part of a boss battle, but it's just a cutscene.

I'm thinking the same. The example shown for the "Ultimate Decision" seems to be whether Naruto remembers his fight against Sasuke in VotE or his first encounter with him for Part II in Orochimaru's Hideout. The battles in those flashbacks will probably be playable as well, from the looks of it. Seeing as there are some kind of stars, showing difficulty level (?), it appears to show the difficulty level for the two battles in the two flashbacks. One is easier, the other is tougher.

So much for the "Ultimate Decision". I doubt it will involve taking some majorly important choices, since the game already has a set course of the story. It's probably gonna be choices about flashbacks and other trolololol stuff. Still... I guess it's still better than nothing, and kind of an improvement.
