While I'm all in support of sex changes and everything, this is just. No. First off, I do agree he needs it to a certain extent, it's a mental issue and it should be helped and treated. It is a matter of life or death though, BUT if he decides to commit suicide before he's released, then that's his problem. He can wait to get it, IF he really needs it. HOWEVER, the fact that it's coming out of the people's money is bs. Those funds deserve to be going towards education and other important things. Criminals should not get royalty of any kind. They committed the crime and violated another person's rights, why should they get freebies? If he gets a free sex change, well you know what? They can give me a damn house!

I don't blame the prisoner for wanting to squeeze what he can out of the system. Prisoners are ALWAYS going to do that. I know I would and I
think you would do if you were in prison. Because why not?

I blame the system for being too pathetic to say "No."

But it's pretty obvious WHY they are allowing this.


Politics.

It's simple. Really. Allow free sex changes for criminals. Soon
non-criminals will find it unfair. So free sex changes for them too.
Then while we're at it why don't we make ALL health care free?
