I really liked this anime.
what I loved most was the realistic emotional process of how having too much power destroys a person. Light started out wanting to help society, and eventually became crazed. Misa-misa just wanted attention from the man she "loved" (adored him for his power) and sacrificed herself countless times just like any other naive teenaged girl. But L was the law, he stood up for what justice should have been. And failed. Why? Because nothing is perfect. |
