Gokage Dream Team

[Godaime Kazekage]

Seeing as the 5 Kage are still fighting Madara, I thought I'd ask you guys which combination of Kage from any generation would make the ultimate fighting force.
In other words, which team of Kage would be the strongest and would have the skillset to deal with any situation?

Here's my example:

Hokage: Hashirama
Kazekage: Gaara
Tsuchikage: Onoki
Mizukage: 2nd Mizukage
Raikage: 3rd Raikage

Explanation: I would pick Minato as the Hokage representative, but the team already has a speedster w/ the 3rd Raikage and Hashirama is a well rounded fighter with regen, wood style, a sleep inducing attack, and a genjutsu-not to mention Bijuu control.

Gaara is easily the best of the Kazekage w/ powerful defenses including a very speedy auto-defense, a basic attack (catch and crush) fast and strong enough to kill 99% of the Narutoverse and a sealing tech to deal with Edo Tensei.

Onoki is much more well rounded than Muu and more of a team player. Muu has invisibility, but Onoki has a lot more earth techniques to compensate. Onoki can help his teammates by giving them flight, and enhancing Gaara and the Raikage's techniques.

2nd Mizukage: The best of the Kage with Genjutsu which is a weakpoint of every generation of Kage, since almost none of them have Genjutsu. Joki Boi and his "logia" form don't hurt either.

3rd Raikage: Has super speed, likely not as much as A, but compensates for it in every other area. His Nukite jutsu is way better than any of A's offensive abilities, he has ridiculous stamina/durability, and has Black Lightning to boot.

But they do not have sealing jutsu's so the result would not change very much

Muu can make his allies fly too,he teached oonoki how to fly afterall.I agree with your list but i would put Muu instead of Oonoki.

How do you keep forgetting that Gaara has a sealing technique? He's used it multiple times already.

@Kioroshi: I never said that Muu couldn't give his allies flight, although technically we don't know that he could since he's never been shown doing that and it would've been helpful for the Edo Kage when they fought against Gaara and Onoki-maybe Onoki improved on the flight technique? Anyway, I think Onoki is more useful due to his Earth release techniques and his ability to manipulate weight.

@Iso: Dream: There are two essential flaws to your argument: Muu doesn't have weight control techniques-that's Onoki only and the Third Kazekage's sand isn't poisoned-that was Sasori's addition.

Also, Frog Song is also not that great of a technique: user has to go into SM, Ma+Pa have to prepare for the song, then they have to sing the entire song without being interrupted. Sharingan genjutsu can be broken out of by a simple poke from a teammate. Otherwise, good points-I liked what you wrote about Mei, although I think the Kage team would need genjutsu more than AoE attacks.

Edit-@ All: The point of this thread isn't to put together the 5 most powerful ninja in the Narutoverse into one being or create the best team to fight Madara with-it's just to determine who, in your opinion, the best, most well-rounded, 5 Kage team is. I can see how my OP was confusing-sorry.

The only spot in question here was the Tsuchikage spot, every other one has been set in stone by the manga. I'd take Onoki too because his weight manipulation technique is very useful for teams. Also, in his prime he doesn't have the back and stamina issues. We already knew who the strongest Hokage, Raikage, Mizukage, and Kazekage were. There's really nothing to debate in this thread.

Idk if your willing to sacrifice versaility for brute strenght you might just wanna replace the 2nd mizukage with the 4th (yagura). We dont know much about his techniques but he is stated to be one of the few persons who can control a bijuu (danzo mentioned him toghether with hashi, maddy and somebody else i dont remember)

Because of the above its safe to assume yagura had access to V1, V2 , beast form and TBB. Plus his water mirror would be quite good.

Actually, the strongest Hokage is very debatable-sure Hashirama has gotten tons of hype recently, but there are many (myself included) that think Minato and/or Prime Hiruzen were better-this however doesn't necessarily make them the best choice for a team battle, you also can't forget that Tobirama has Edo Tensei and in a team setting the other Kage can cover for him/make up for the areas he lacks in.

I can see how some might debate that the 3rd Kazekage is a better choice than Gaara due to Iron Sand's offensive capabilities-World Order and those supersonic spikes. (Although this would be ignoring the other benefits Gaara brings besides attack/defense-Sensing Sand, Sealing tech, flight-although Iron Sand would probably allow for flight too).

The Mizukage position really has three contenders, all with very different fighting styles. Mei has acid mist, lava, hidden mist and powerful large scale water techs. Yagura has 3 tails, the water mirror tech, and the coral tech. 2nd Miz has Joki Boy, water/oil body, water gun, and battlefield wide genjutsu.

As you said yourself, picking between Muu and Onoki isn't easy.

The only member that's truly a given is the 3rd Raikage.

If garra was sooo good a sealing he would have done it to Maadara more. What sceniro would make this team win?

3RK-featless
1HK- Mostly AWESOME hype but he has the same powers of edo Madara
2MK- Genjutsu will not effect an Uchiha much
Garra is the only helpful one
3TK- Even IF he gave flight to his freinds the friends would have no control of it.

The kages would be doing better but... How do they get past PERFECT SUSSANOO!!!

Madara would not be underestimating this group

we also know whos strongest tsuchikage but i say most chose Onoki cuz hes more of a teamfighter.Weight manipulation,Often Boosting Morale....

i think that the fifth mizukage is better fitted for fighting him.
genjutsu wouldnt work on sharingan users. or at least he would snap out of it very quickly. so her brute force attacks and susanoo melting steam could really help the force.

I say NO

-Madara would not take them likely and Garra is the mai/only threat due to Sealing jutsu so Madara would use Perfect susanoo to take him out

Actually, the entire point of this thread is to pick the best team of 5 Kage from all of the generations, with an emphasis on good team work and an ability to respond to all types of situations (i.e. good Nin/Tai/Genjutsu, varied chakra element representation, sealing, sensing, etc.). I even explicitly asked for everyone's opinion. I never said anything about fighting Madara except for that the current 5 Kage are still fighting him in the manga right now which inspired me to make this thread. The name of the thread is "Gokage Dream Team", not "Gokage Eliminate Edo Madara Team".

P.S. I don't get what all the hype about Perfect Susano'o is anyway. Yeah, it's huge, powerful and OP, but Onoki could easily solo it with weight manipulation and Jinton.

@lolohwd: Genjutsu not working on Sharingan users is BS-ask Sasuke and Itachi. The 2nd Miz's jutsu is an environmental jutsu as well, so if Madara or whoever breaks out of it, they just get stuck in it again-they have to take the clam out first.

Edit: @Iso: Dream: I think that the sealing tags are unique to the Sand Village since only Suna shinobi have used them in the war. Also, the tags aren't just paper-they have jutsu formula on them (similar to Minato's FTG Kunai), Hashirama can make the paper, but not the sealing jutsu.

Madara hasn't shown the ability to use Amaterasu yet. Yes, I know it's supposedly a component of Susano'o, but just like with the other Rinnegan jutsu he hasn't used yet (like ST) you can't use it in a debate until he's used it in the manga. Onoki could also avoid it piggybacking w/ A. But we're getting off topic.

3rK- I am such a fan of his stamina and I think all can agree he is the best choice. He is the father of Ay and has great hype... he can do whatever Ay can..... BUT BETTER

Hashirama- HE IS THE GREATEST KAGE IN THE WORLD AND I LOVE HIM WITH A PASSION

Muu- just because of

Do you mean Yagura for the Mizukage? Yugito is the blonde chick w/ the braid and she was a Kumo ninja (she didn't have full control over her Bijuu by the way, but she could fully transform). Yagura is the adult who looks like a kid and has a staff w/ a flower on it. He was Isobu (the Three Tail's) host and he was stated to have full control over his Bijuu. He also has the water mirror and coral fist techniques.

Yagura does have full Bijuu control and is a guy. You should get some sleep
