I played the 1st one, and I loved it, then playing the 2nd one, it's like they dumbed down the rp elements for action gameplay, don't get me wrong, the story in the 2nd one was good

If I remember correctly, if you have a saved game from the first one, you could go with the story from the first one and continue with the 2nd one which is good.

Ye-up, I loved the (can't spell there names, the pale skins) they were mad gangsta, I wish there was a choice to help them take over the city lol

I have it, and hated it. Gameplay was dumbed down, story was absolutely dreadful and pointless, the writing is probably still Biowares worst ever. Overall an entirely forgettable experience that marked the beginning of Biowares continuous fall.

dragon age origins was the best of the series.dragon age 2 and dragon age origins awakening were ok but could have been better.

DA: Origins was a disappointment, and there have been so many other games out since then.

Question though: Is the combat better in DA2? I absolutely HATED the combat in Origins.

Played the first and just didn't have a taste for it. I played the second and liked it a lot more, just never finished it. =/

I can say I enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins. I played a little bit of Dragon Age II, and from what I saw, It looked pretty good itself. I'm looking forward to actually sitting down and getting more into Dragon Age III but not really, so far the development looks steady.

In the 3rd, I haven't gotten far enough for specializations yet D: I'm stuck on this one mission.
