I highly doubt Kishi's going to break shonen manga traditions and pair everybody up. At the most we may have a FMA type ending where they just show pictures of people together.

Sakura is not into the realtionship as much. Even if they did hook up Sakura only likes him cuz he is famous

Sakura has what's called "First Love Syndrome"

They say that you never truly get over your first love; you will love them forever.

And since this uses Japanese logic, it's more than a crush that one 12/14 year old has on another.

So basically, Sakura will always love Sasuke, and if not seeing him for two years doesn't do anything, it's safe to assume she will never be able to fully devote herself to Naruto no matter how hard she tries.

If NaruSaku is 1-sided, then NaruHina doesn't even exist, not that I'm saying Sakura has feelings for Naruto, but it's more believeable that Sakura feels for Naruto than Naruto feels for Hinata. That's a ridiculous assumption, if Sakura is with Naruto is because she loves him, and the same goes for any couple.

You can also say that for Hinata towards Naruto & especially Naruto towards Sakura, so it's a stalemate, meaning someone's gotta lose their feelings & someone has to get hurt.

I don't remember honestly, I do recall Sai asking Naruto & he said he didn't want to say anything to Sakura until he bring Sasuke back, but actions speak louder than words, it's easy to say "I love you", especially for teens, naruto feelings for sakura by far had the loudest actions thus far. Not to mention when Sakura said to Sasuke & Hinata to Naruto, they were desperate situations, something Naruto has yet to be in.

I think everything's being rushed.

I'm thinking if it happens, Naruto will be close to death in his fight against Sasuke and of course Sakura will be there (since Team 7 must be reunited), and then she'll try to heal both of them since Sasuke's going to be pretty beat up too, but the damage is way too severe and as they both slowly die, Naruto will be like "Sakura, I love you, I always have, I wanted to keep my promise" and then Sakura will say "Naruto, you totally did! Look, Team 7's together again!" and Sasuke will have a moment of revelation and say "You guys, I'm sorry for being such a douche! And Sakura, you were always there for me, I didn't think I had any emotions besides hatred but I realize now that I totally love you!" Sakura, through her tears, can't choose between them and will say "I love both of you so much, don't die on me!" but then nothing's working so she'll use her medical ninjustu to remove her own life force and they'll all die together. Epic ending.

I think it was more of a "OMG I'M AN IDIOT" realization by Naruto.

I think he's a total jerk for not saying anything to her, though. We all though he forgot after he went into Kyuubi mode, but nope, he's just being mean.
